Martvilo Issae necropolis

It's a bit sad that the cemetery is this much neglected and hidden behind tennis court. Also if you try to find it on Google Maps as "Helenističko groblje" you are not going to get any results. I wish there is at least some kind of info table like on other tourist attractions so we can find more information about it. Just a little bit of restoration and cutting the bushes around would make it equally important along with other beauties of Vis.

A place full of potential, but hidden away and neglected behind a tennis court. If these are real tombstones, it’s a shame there’s no explanation there. Needs to be restored.

Prekrasno mjesto prepuno potencijala. Na žalost, kao i sve druge vrijedne stvari, nije prepoznato od lokalne gradske uprave i turističke zajednice. Dopustiti da onakva vrijedna arheološka baština propada je neoprostivo.
Prljavo, obraslo travom, devastirani spomenici, neugledno. Sramota za Vis.
