Absolutely superb food and atmosphere. Couldn't have asked for better. We pre ordered the lamb under the bell (24 hours in advance), it was well worth it.

For 4 of us it was €196.00 that included starters (tomato salad, bread, cheese and a thin ham), wine, bottled water, lamb under the bell and pudding. We were well and truly satisfied.

So chill and relaxed place! The owner is very nice! He didnt have all food from the menu, but what we got was very tasty. I can really recommend tomato soup and meat. Wine was also very good.

Cheese and meat starter, lamb and potato main (have to order 4 hours in advance!) and a creme caramel for dessert. Whole meal cost €89 for two of us - there are no menus, definately worth it.
Lovely atmosphere on some beautiful grounds with mountain views, what more could you want?

We came on noon and we met the owner of the place that do the things as a hobby , we were just before the flight back home and this place is close to airport :)

It is recommended to order a place before you arrive. And notice there are some spacial dishes that if you want them you should order a day before .

We were the only guests and the service and atmosphere in the place was amazing. Food was outstanding, fresh cooked and delicious. I never ever taste the tomatoes like there. The welcome drink was a great start for a very nice evening. To get to the restaurant you drive passing the view point, the best experience in the evening when the sun goes down. The restaurant is located on the end of the road on the top of the mountain, just about half kilometers from the Bośnia and Hercegowina border.

We turned up after a trip advisor recommendation, was fantastic food in a fantastic setting. A slightly challenging drive up at times but well worth it.

If you ring a minimum of 4 hours ahead they can have lamb, beer or octopus cooked under Bell for you, if not then they have a fantastic option of a meat and cheese board with salad, and a sea food or meat platter with chips for main

We got starter and main plus a litre of wine for 640.

An amazing hidden gem, in a remote small idyllic village on top of a mammoth mountain. Everything was perfect: the location, the food, the music, the mood, the owner which is also the one preparing the delicious food he's serving. I'd recommend it for people who are looking for an authentic local cuisine experience and people that enjoy a nice and quiet place. Definitely one of my all time favourite!

The journey to this excellent and quaint hilltop restaurant is worth whatever you get at the top ... But what you get is also awesome. Welcomed by the proprietor with glasses of sherry and a local spiced liquor, we went for local fare at his suggestion. Farm cheese, bright tomatoes sprinkled with salt and oil, olives, local prosciutto and fresh bread. A local white that was a bit young but good. Pašticada with pillow-soft gnocchi. Delish.

The menu highlight (which we did not try) is a protein (e.g., lamb, pork, octopus) coal-roasted under a bell right there. The owner asks for several hours to a full day's notice as it takes a good hour to prepare the coals and then time to roast.

We were hunting for authentic traditional cuisine and found this rare gem high up in the hills. The reservation was easy as the owner spoke English and we were lucky enough to have the octopus peka on the first night then the pasticada on the second. The food was beyond delicious and the tenderness of the octopus was life-changing! We live in France but have never had such good house wines (we have tried everything: white, red and rosé)! Definitely recommend to gastronomes and already looking forward to coming back.

Because of the very good reviews we spontaneously decided to visit although the journey has been a little longer. For this, the wonderful views on the way more than compensated us, as did the restaurant. The food was very tasty, the ambience to feel good and the operator very friendly. The prices are common in the region and, in view of the remote situation, is by no means too expensive. We can highly recommend this restaurant and would be happy to come back.

We are so glad we found Konavoski Komin - so far the nicest meal we have had in Dubrovnik! The setting is very calming, tranquil, with quiet background music - we were so happy to be away from the cruise ship tour groups madness in the old town.

The owner chef warmly welcomed us and offered us his local liquor to start with - we had the sweet (red) one which was delicious! We had wanted to order the “under the bell” grill but we didn’t know we had to order the day before for preparation. Nevertheless our meal was really, really good: the starter which comprised of tomatoes (the best!!), anchovies, olives and local cheeses. We had two different types of fish as a main and a crème brûlée and figs for dessert. Everything was so very delicious.

The calm ambience, the wonderful food and the very friendly and nice owner made our lunch a very pleasant and lovely experience. When in Dubrovnik, forget the touristy restaurants at the port and come here instead!

What a great place in a great setting with a great host. Food was fantastic with the lamb and potatoes cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend that you book the day before and drive up there early to take in the view. 5 stars

Wonderful food and location. If you want food "cooked under the Bell" as they refer to it in this part of Croatia, you have to pre-order as it takes a minimum of 4 hours to cook.

This place is good for you if you spent too much time on the beach, because it is far up in the mountains! Here you can not choose from a card, but what you will get is absolutelly domestic local food with a good wine. The owner re-opened the former but at the last years abandoned restaurant. I recommend it. The price level was so high as the location is from the see-level. There is phone, so before you go there you can order some specialities and you can agree with price. Close to the place there is a wiewpoint. Don't miss to look around!

We happened by this place by accident. We went to see the sunset and decided to go and check what is at the end of the road. There happened to be a restaurant and we decided to eat our dinner there. The place looked awesome and food was great. We ordered grilled shrimp and fries. Fries were perfect and best grilled shrimp we have tasted. It's a shame I didn't make reservation ahead of time, since I would have loved to taste the lamb cooked under the bell. Also I would have loved to taste their wine, but I was driving. All in all, very good experience, but even if you don't order food, that requires higher cook time, I recommend making a reservation, otherwise the place might not be open when you arrive.

Nice genuine restaurant surrounded by mountains and nature. No printed menu but the beef dish that was available was really good. Around 20eur for a hot dish + beer.

Just grate place to eat and relax ant to feel yourself royal! Greetings to a very frendly host!

We were hiking and stopped there for a quick lunch. The owner was very friendly and the food tasted amazing. It was great comfort food which was reasonably priced. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere. Don't miss this special, Croatian experience.
