Restaurant "Ribarnica Bakar"

Simple menu, fresh and delicious. This place is no frills and serves tasty local food, freshly prepared in a beautiful setting right by the sea. Typically you'd get charged an arm and a leg in more touristy places and be served mediocre food. This place is great value. Try it, can't go wrong!

The best local seafood I've had in this region of Croatia!
People who work here are very kind and hardworking. We had a plate of grill seafood which was 2 different types of fish, calamari, mussels, fries, potatoes and beans. We also asked them to add fried calamari and bring bread. Everything was extremely tasty!

I was in Rijeka for a day with my gf and was planning to have a good fish restaurant to taste Croatian fishes. Somehow I came across with this restaurant on internet and decided to have a visit to Bakar and that was the one of best decision in my life :D

The town is amazing, this restaurant have amazing sea foods and it is not expensive.

I definitely will come to Bakar again and eat here again.

Great food, we had plate of squids, small fishes like sardines and anchovis fried and potato salad plus 0.5l wine for 27€. It was more than enough great food for two people

If you want to eat fresh fish not expencive this is a perfect place. Ambient is not fancy, but all searvis is easy and cool. Dont expect fancy restourant whit vine cart. You drink white or red vine, easy, domestic. And you dont pay much. 1 kg of grill scampi is 250 kn. Of course its not fresh,, but still perfect and tasty for this price.

Worth to try even if you need to make a your trip a bit longer. This restaurant is about see food only. It's rather works like a fast food place than a classic restaurant. Food is fresh and delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Almost too cheap. Staff is busy but friendly. Mood of the city of Bakar is great.

Amazing fish restaurant. Simple setup, but dishes are great and at an unbeatable price.

Local folks, local fish, simple cooking, cold beer, Croatian plonk, fair prices. Can't go wrong - sharing fish platter outstanding for quality of seafood. Ate here three times in five days. Gets busy - so be prepared to wait - we were kindly served cold beer which we drank sitting on the raised pavement! Nice people.

It's not the first time we've had lunch in Bakar, at Ribarnica restaurant. The staff is friendly, space clean, nice view of Bakar Bay. The restaurant offers various kind of fish meals. Prices are acceptable. The restaurant is very popular, therefore sometimes you must wait a little bit to take a seat. 😊👍👍👍

Very good fish and super friendly staff. We enjoyed our visit a lot. Make sure to come a little earlier though if you don’t want to miss out on the spinach-potatoes sides

One of my best tourist experiences. A whole plate of little fresh fishes, veggies, white wine, for a really good price. It was magical. I've had fish many times in Croatia but the town of Bakar adds some magic to it.
