Very nice National Park! We were on a road-trip and spontaneously passed by. As a student you pay even more less if you have your id with you. There es even a swimming area;)

If you're planning a trip to Croatia, one destination you definitely won't want to miss is the Roski waterfall in the Krka National Park. As a nature lover and travel enthusiast, I had the pleasure of visiting this picturesque location and I have to say, it's one of the most stunning waterfalls I've ever seen.

As you make your way to the waterfall, you'll walk through a beautiful forest and along the way, you'll be treated to stunning views of the river and the surrounding mountains. Once you arrive at the waterfall, you'll be mesmerized by the cascading water and the lush greenery that surrounds it.

The Roski waterfall is truly a sight to behold, and the best part is that you can swim in the crystal-clear waters. The water is cool and refreshing, making it the perfect place to cool off on a hot summer day. Whether you're a thrill-seeker looking to jump from the rocks into the water, or you prefer a more peaceful swim, the waterfall offers something for everyone.

If you're interested in hiking, the area around the waterfall has several trails that offer stunning views of the surrounding nature. You can also take a boat tour to explore the river and the waterfalls from a different perspective.

Overall, the Roski waterfall is a must-visit destination in Croatia. It's a natural wonder that's sure to leave you in awe, and it's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. Whether you're a solo traveler or visiting with your family, this place will not disappoint. So, add it to your list of places to visit in Croatia and prepare to be amazed!

Great ambient of mutiple waterfalls. This is one of many entrances to NP Krka. Currently tickets are sold in big wooden house at the parking nearby of Roski slap. It is possible to visit other parts of NP Krka by boat that are leaving from there, if you cone before 1300 it is possible to visit nearby forts by boat. Also priest monastary Visovac is posible to visit by boat. At Roski slap there is easy relaxing circular trail 1.3 km long, along it there is beatifull sightseeing point to vist however it is very steep on the end so good walking shoes and or walkimg sticks i would sugest. After that there is a small cave, wooden ladder lead to it. When finishing the trail you will return on starting point then you can go doen to boat landing area where 3 buffet places, museum and suvenir shop is located. There are pleanty choices for relaxation and exploring nature, the best is to study online NP Krka park website and for any doubts frendly staff that sells tickets there will answer.

Really beautiful and special waterfalls, more gentle than Skradinski Buk. Very worth a visit, however, note that the signage in this area is not very good.

We took the “necklace trail”, which is a very easy 20 min walk around the waterfalls. You really get an amazing view and it’s super peaceful! Parking was a bit of an issue in the afternoon, and the park rangers will check for your Krka entrance ticket.

Overall a great visit and would definitely recommend for people visiting Skradinski Buk on the same day!

Nice surrounding with crystal clear water and spectacular views. The waterfall is not as impressive as Skardinsky Buk but definitely worth checking. It has it's own vibe.

Bar/restaurant located in an old mill with a mountain stream flowing through it is a one of a kind experience. Tables are placed directly on the water :)

There's also a small beach where you can swim in the lake.

Downsides:
* You may find it challenging to park your car as in high season it's very crowded.

* Prices :/

WOW! A simply stunning place. No matter how many times you go back it is always a joy and treasure to spend some time here... Is it relaxing, having a coffee, riding a bike, whatever.... Must see if in the area. Best to visit in May, June ... Love it!!

Roški Slap is a mesmerizing place with it's extensive small waterfalls. The walk path is around 2km(upper part) + 1km (lower part)

During high season the bars and restaurants are open at the lower part. It is amazing to be there.

We did a hike from Roški Slap to Visovac boat station. It is a medium terrain, 7.3km hike with 270m elevation gain and NO access to water.
Hiking gear and water is recommended.
There are toilets and tap water at the Visovac boat station. Next to to it there is a nice clean beach. Meanwhile you wait for the bus, take a dip :)
The free bus can take you back to Roški Slap.

Excellent short walk around the cascades and waterfall as well as great views if you climb up the 500 or so stairs to the cave. Yes, there's a cave as well, but shut in winter. Mid winter during a pandemic, on a Monday really is the best time to go. One couple were all the people I shared the place with. Very helpful ticket office guy. There's an 8 km walk along the river as well but I ran out of time for that. Brilliant place to visit.

It’s a few ours walking if you want to see everything 😊. During Covid-19 restrictions they have coffee to go and that’s it. Until 16.00 . And you have to pay tickets until 16.00. If you come here after you don’t have to pay. That’s weekend program for now. It will change with time.. But you can always make your own sandwiches and find bench with a view and enjoy 😊. Beautiful nature , waterfalls and mountains.. cave was closed but I’m sure they will open it by the and of March 2021.. definitely worth to spend day here 😊

Nice restaurant upstairs. The tables and benches are standing on the water. But waterfall was very small. Boat trip to that place takes 4 hours and cost 130 kn. (there return)

It is a nice place to visit. We had a calm day here. We visited the cave and we walked on the green loop. And we swam in the water on the beach which was smaller as I expected. Parking is free but you have to buy ticket to walk on the trials. Adult ticket costs 100 kn, child is 55kn.

Great area with 4 different hikes (viewpoint, towards the cave, around the river and towards the falls) and different levels of difficulty.

It is a peaceful place, there is a restaurant with great food as well.

Wow such a awesome scenery, only problem is parking which there are none and you park close to road which in summer is very hot.

Also cave in the park is awesome, however there is like 600 of steps which you climb to reach it, but in cave is colder and much needed for a relax of afternoon heat.

Roski Slap seems to be less crowded and the location offers some unique combination of attractions for families: swimming area in the lake right next to the restaurant Kristijan and beautiful shaded meadow with multiple streams. So if you are after some great day out, not just sightseeing, you can stay here all day, relaxing on the meadow with a bar, looking at your kids playing in shallow stream waters or swimming in the lake. Alte Muhle Kristijan is also a must see with a waterfall running right through the restaurant. You can cool down by jumping into the waterfall or into the designated barrel for a natural shower. Pure fun, my family voted this to be the best day out on our Croatian holiday. We parked our car next to Panorama restaurant and walked across the bridge. We also went on a walk to the cave but it was a bit disappointing compared to the effort it takes to climb over 500 steps. Views are spectacular, though, so we still recommend it.

Great place for a picnic and afternoon. Climbing the cliff is difficult but the view is so much worth it! You will need good shoes! Worth the effort and one of the best views of Croatia guaranteed.

Interesting: the Waterfall was dry (not existing) during our visit in July. But the area was still very special, also the view from above from the cave. But the locals over-exaggerated the difficulty of the stairs to come up to the cave. The bus aournd and walking over the mountain took double or maybe even triple the time than just simply taking the stairs. Also, the Restaurant with the water flowing through the tables is the real hidden gem for all Instagram influnencers out there. Go there, fight for one of the four tables and get pictures that nobody else has.
