Loved my visit to this national park with its lakes, waterfalls and woodland hills.
Free parking at this time of the year (early march) for my motorhome. The facilities are great for coffee and food. There is a boat ride or you can walk, I took the boat but walked back. The sun was out so made the scenery extra special. The lakes and various waterfalls are impressive. There are nice pathways and clear signs. Everything was brilliant, highly recommend. I will be back.

A must visit paradise in Croatia and one could easily get lost for half a day to a couple of days depending on the interest. At least half a day in a rush to get a taste of paradise is a must.
There are 2 entrances with a good number of parking places which seemed not crowded during October maybe in season it could be packed. Entrance tickets and parking was way below what I expected for this gem of nature. During the season it is a different price but worth paying. I do not understand why some reviewers complain about the price when it is so much of a treasure.
Overall the park is well maintained with good hiking trails, clean restrooms and good cafes and restaurants.
The park can get crowded but as a sensible tourist one has to plan and not blame the crowds on the park. The boardwalks can be packed with tourists hanging to take pics and not respecting others, just be mindful of this crowd
We parked at the first entrance and did the long trail - K which includes the boat ride and option to take the shuttle back to the parking lot. The trail starts off at the lower lakes with views of the amazing waterfalls before heading through the various trails, boardwalks and then the upper lakes.
If time permits I would recommend adding another trail to enjoy more of the views.
Near entrance 1 there is a really good restaurant for an amazing lunch or dinner. The day we visited it was not crowded and we were able to enjoy a peaceful lunch.
Overall a must visit park for all seasons.

The best natural park ever, the water color is absolutely amazing. Very very very nice. we did everything in one day but i wish we had the time to spend two days at least.

The best, must-visit spot of Croatia. The landscapes this park offers are breathtaking. I recommend trail C, and if you have plenty of time, K seems like a great choice too.

This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. We went here at winter time and the price for the entry was only 10 euro per person, kinds were free since they were 5 and 6. The beauty of the lake and waterfalls can not be described with words. We are looking forward to see it in all season.

Amazing landscape. A few hours drive out of Zagreb and worth the effort. To truly appreciate this national park, you should spend one or 2 nights to complete the longer hikes. Hiking routes are well sign posted. Park entry is €10 per person.
Highly recommended

This place is absolutely breathtaking! You need good shoes if you want to enjoy the longest route (K). I really recommend to start early in the morning because the park is extra full after 11!
You at least need to see this place once because it is ….spectacular!!!!!

We went at 7am to avoid the crowd and it was amazing. We started at gate 1 and followed the route 3 in their app. It took us about 3 hours to finish the walk. It was so calm and peaceful, the colors are absolutely insane.
Parking was okay, but it does cost 1 euro per hour in the off season.

Stunning waterfalls that deserve a major detour to visit!

I would recommend visiting in the October or November off-season, and right after some moderate rainfall. Bring a warm jacket and you’ll enjoy the natural beauty with fewer visitors crowding the walkways.

There are simply no words to describe how beautiful nature and landscape is in this place.
I have visited it many times and in all 4 seasons, but I can't decide which is my favourite. I would recommend everybody to come here at least once in their lifetime.

Visited the park today and had a memorable experience as it had started snowing in the night and it was the first snow for this winter. Spent a few hours walking though the paths around the lakes and waterfalls.

It had poured down rain all night and morning, so I delayed entering the park until late morning. The guide suggested which trails to take for a good half-day excursion. I really don't think you can go wrong. So beautiful!

An absolute must visit if in Croatia or the area. Completed the K loop in 5 hours with a stop for a packed lunch picnic, but off season mid-week visit so the park was likely less crowded then peak summer season. Truly magical place!

Worth it- be ready to walk 7-10 km if you want to see few locations. But totally worth it. Breathtaking and very well kept. Be sure to carry water and bit of food. Restrooms are few and you might get a drink in few spots but it’s easier to carry a small backpack with basic essentials along with head cover or something to protect from getting burned.

The most beautiful sightseeing in Croatia. Low season €23.5, high season €40, autumn season €10. Two entries, can take bus back to Zagreb. Car parking is in front. It’s better to book tickets online in advance.

This place is mesmerizing - you have to come here. It's actually beautiful.
For Indians , we felt as if we were really in the - Epic Ramayana . It's waterfall, wooden lumber make you feel as the Divine himself stays here in small Cabin.

We went here in September 2023 during the second week . One trail we did around at 1600 hours and the another trail the next morning. Yes Evening, you find crowd but you can manage pictures.
Now next morning as we were staying at Hotel Bellevue, we reached the boat at 7AM and was at this Hike K may be i Forgot , from Boat . It has splendid waterfalls and ironically there was no other Human at 0730 hours and it felt paradise. Do it, this morning way.

If you stay in one of the three hotels in the park the ticket is valid to enter multiple and buying ticket post 1500 hours led to a discount at Ticket Office.
And the restaurant at one of the Entrance was so great ....like at the strech of ground you have put benches - people enjoying and eating .
Minimum one night stay is recommended .
Once you get there you will automatically guided well .

Splendid and Outstanding beauty of Nature.
It was raining but had an amazing experience.
Please check the parking as Parking at P1 is away from P2 and quite a walk, you need to take shuttle and then walk around.

Absolutely beautiful. The colours of the lake are truly stunning and it is such a surreal and peaceful place. The mornings get very busy with lots of groups visiting... but the afternoons are quiet and more relaxing. Be sure to take a map and information on bus/ boat times. I would 100% visit again and managed to see most of the lakes over two days. The walks average around 2-8 hours, depending on how fast you walk and what route you take.

It was just too good. We started from gate no.1. We had our private guide Andrija of Degenija Tours who took great care of us, senior citizens, and explained to us each and every interesting point of beautiful national park. It was very hot so walking on wooden log became little difficult after 3 hours. A small suggestion to park authorities. It took us an hour to stand in a scorching sun queue to take boat transfer. It could be easily avoided if people are given token numbers so that they can rest, have meals and take their boats when their turn comes. I hope the management will look into it to avoid unnecessary trouble to tourists. We wanted to complete our entire journey but due to tiredness we quit after 75% of tour. No doubt it is a great place to visit but for senior citizens I think 2 hour tour is more than sufficient as it becomes little repetitive after some time.

Worths every penny! The view is stunning and it only gets better as you move to different parts of the park. Great sceneries with abundant wildlife. Drive from/to Split/Zagreb is easy, entrance is easy to find and surprised there are still shops/restaurants open during winter!
