Konoba Vala

We had an amazing dinner here. The staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtful. We ordered the mussels and fish, and our waiter recommended a fantastic white wine pairing. We were staying at a resort nearby all week, and this dinner was a fantastic break from the touristy spots in Dubrovnik. Highly recommend!

We recently stayed in zaton and ate at konoba Vala. We found the owner and staff extremely friendly. The pizzas was nice and fresh, Ribeye steak, Burgers and fresh fish was truly enjoyed would highly recommend a visit see you again soon.

It’s wonderfull, both the food and the service. We took fresh fish and grilled octopus. It was very tasty. Highly recomended!

Worth booking a table, as it gets busy quickly. There's also a range of charcoal cooked dishes that need to be ordered at least 3 hours in advance.
They take card payments.

Really nice and quiet place. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food IS tasty.
We came a few times and tried several dishes - really tasty. Especially grilled fish - exceptional taste. And the traditional one cooked behind a "bell" in the oven fully covered with coal.

Nice restaurant with attentive staff next to the beach. We had mussels, meat plate and chicken steak. Portions were big and tasted very good.

The server was very nice and attentive, cracked a few jokes and made us feel very welcome. The food was good.

An absolute gem. The food was fantastic. The atmosphere was amazing, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended as an experienced chef with almost 20 years of experience in high street restaurants. 👌

I’ve eaten here twice in the past week. I can highly recommend the slow cooked lamb, but make sure you order this particular meal when booking your table at least 3 hours before. Very helpful staff! They even did a fish platter for one, for my daughter.

Went here only because it was close to our rented flat. What a great find! Excellent food and service with very reasonable prices. Got the shrimp soup (a big pot of prawns in sauce) on the waiters advice. Delicious!

We have gone here twice already throughout our 2 day stay here! The grilled prawns and squid were delightful. Tonight we ordered the dalmation Chops and fried calamari... Note to our americanized friends, fried DOES NOT mean breaded! It was still delicious even though it wasn't what I expected. The dalmation chops tasted like a sirlion steak that was pulverized thinly. You may have some cat friends visit, try not to feed them because you don't want them being a nuisance. All around great service!

The best restaurant in Mali and Veliki Zaton! Service is outstanding good! The Food is as well outstanding good! And despite the price increases in Croatia the prices at Konoba Vala are low! The guy didn't increase the prices since the last few years! Very service oriented and family friendly!

Top service, very good prepared food, especially everything from grill - the chevapchi have been suepr delicious. Highly recommended.

Stumbled upon this place by accident, but I was astonished by the quality of the food and the wonderful service. Great wine, black risotto, mussels, fish, and desserts. The waiter was extremely friendly and so was the owner. Great location as well with easy parking.

This is a place you want to have on a perfect vacation! After a long day of swimming there is staff that listens to you and has all the patience, and then brings delicious food on the table. What more do you need?

This is the restaurant with the best sea food I've ever tasted. I highly recommend it, fresh and perfectly prepared. My family and I eat here every year. Love it!
