Fenomen Plitvice Resort

We stayed for a night here before going to the lakes of Plitvice. It was still at the end of winter. Rooms were cozy and heating was just perfect. Breakfast could me improved but it was not that bad. The area is spacious and maybe in summer and early autumn would be a great place to relax and have some good times around friends or with your partner.

I am almost ashamed to stay here. The trip to Plitvice National Park is supposed to be 'at one with nature', but the luxury you get from this accommodation is so out of this world. Every amenity in the room is not just top notch, but NEW (though this hotel is already more than 5 years old) From the mattress, to the kitchenette, to the toilet, water pressure, heating, etc. Fantastic. If I really had to nitpick, well the shower head was plasticky. There's even a sauna and jacuzzi we could use in another hut. Service staff are attentive, breakfast spread are really great delicious.

We visited this unique resort in mid February , quiet and peaceful surroundings . The rooms are really nice and look like new. The area is well maintained .

We had an amazing stay here! The property is so nice and secluded. It’s a bit of a windy drive to get here but totally worth it.

It’s close to the upper viewpoint of the main falls, so it’s a great way to start your day.

Everyone at the property is so nice and accommodating (special shout-out to Dom & Tommy)! There are two cute kitties on site as well. Check-in was a breeze, and the food was delicious at the restaurant.

The property is close to the auxiliary entrance to the park, so easy entrance/exit. We visited the park for 1.5 days.

We were very sad to leave and would stay here again! Thank you for everything!

I really have to give this hotel a 5 star rating. Everything was fantastic. The hotel is 10 minute drive to entrance 1 or 15 min drive to entrance 2 of the Lakes Park.
This hotel has beautiful, peaceful grounds. The room we booked we in a 2 storey complex with 3 other rooms. Rooms are very spacious and so quiet. Beds very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is very good, and breakfast is an amazing spread of local foods.

Very nice cabin though simple. Great location: quiet with gardens and trails. Restaurante is very good with options for dinner and buffet breakfast. We had rainy weather: umbrellas available. Near Plitvice Lakes. Parking before entering and luggage delivered with cart.

One of best, if not the best stays ever experienced. From the location, service, cuisine, cleanliness and interior design... Everything simply provided in highest standard and luxury feel. Wholeheartedly recommended!

Absolutely incredible experience staying at Fenomen Plitvice! The staff here go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The rooms are amazing - our suite had a kitchenette and heated bathroom floors (which was awesome since it was colder outside) and the beds were very comfy. The hot tub and sauna cabin was an added bonus and we loved being able to use it after a long day of hiking. The national park is also only a 25 minute walk away, but the walk itself is amazing, with quite a few different viewpoints along the way that ended up being some of the next views of the park. Would highly recommend staying here!!!

Great place to stay when visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park. Very quiet location with a good restaurant on the property. One of the entrances to the park is can be reached without a vehicle. There is also a great view of Veliki Slap within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information about the park. Without question I would stay here again.

Serene spot above the Lakes. Very peaceful and quiet- away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist trek.
Rooms are very comfortable. Service was a bit variable but decent overall.

Amazing place. Staff should pay more attention to keeping insects outside apartments.

Fabulous place to stay and visit the park from. That is easily doable on foot. The food was spectacularly good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would have wished for a vegetarian main course to choose, but I was easily accommodated with things not on the menu. So no complaint there. :)
The whole area of Fenomen is so beautiful, I can hardly do it justice.

For guests coming by bus, beware that you cannot walk to Fenomen from any of the main entrances with suitcases. You'll need to take a taxi for about 15 minutes. If you have no suitcases, it will still take you 40-60 minutes if you enter the park from Entrance 1.

Service was excellent, the staff was really lovely and helpful, wonderful houses and well-kept garden.
There is lots of entertainment, a nice playground for kids, sauna, jacuzzi and lovely views.
Beautiful surroundings, everything is calm and quiet. Perfect place to relax and find your inner self!
The restaurant on-site was also fabulous. All of our meals were delicious…
We are definitely going to come back again.

This is such a cute place, definitely gives you the feels of the country side. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The park is only a 15min drive from here. It’s so peaceful and calming here you’re in the middle of nature.

We spent a wonderful family weekend in Fenomen Plitvice! The crew is excellent, very flexible and cooperative. They shared information about the area, where to go, what to do, etc.. The complex has a nice playground for kids, football pitch, two beautiful viewpoints nearby and walking distance from the Great Waterfall (Veliki slap) viewpoint. Accommodation is exactly like on the photos. We enjoyed every bit of it, including great family time next to the fireplace in the evening. At first it seemed that the road to there is bit long, but it goes through an astonishing forest. We wanted to use jacuzzi but there is a limit on the number of people and also has to be booked in advance. Despite that, we had a great time and would definitely use any opportunity to go back in the future!

An extremely pleasant surprise in all dimensions. The food was fabulous (both dinner and breakfast), the room far, far beyond expectations. The staff were very friendly. A great starting point for visiting the lakes - despite the official declaration that one has to drive to the entrance 1. This place was a bright spot in our visit to Croatia - both as the accommodation and the food. By far. Thanks for the fabulous stay!

I wish we could have spent a week at Fenomen Plitvice and the park. We visited a few weeks ago and got to see the four lower lakes, the upper lake paths were closed because they were still covered in snow and ice. Fenomen is an amazing property with perfect little apartments. The restaurant was delicious; we sat by the fire and had a late dinner when we arrived at 8pm. The service was also outstanding, we pestered everyone with questions about the area and the park, and they were very accommodating, answering questions I'm sure they have received a thousand times. Would definitely stay at Fenomen again.

Wow! If I could give more stars, I would. Everything was amazing and perfect. The facilities were top notch and modern. The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. Parking is very simple. Location gets an A+ due to being so secluded. The food was excellent. The customer service was top notch. No one missed a beat with anything. If you are thinking of staying here, don’t hesitate with your reservation.

Excellent service, wonderful houses and apartments, well-kept gardens and lawns.
There is enough enertainment - sauna, jacuzzi, table tennis and lovely views.
The small apartment we chose, was very comfortable, with a small kitchen and large bathroom. We'd love to come back again.

Beautiful houses (opened 3 years ago) and super helpful staff. Amenities are abundant and well maintained and we are super happy that we stayed here. Close to national park and you can have a peek of the big water fall which is only a few hundred meters away. Incompetent Air France lost our luggage and the front desk staff helped us every day to contact them about the luggage, we can’t appreciate them enough. Breakfast was included for our stay, plenty of good food, juice, coffee (expresso, cappucino, ...) to fuel for the day. Staff also happily gave us a bottle of water before we headed out to the national park. My daughter also enjoyed the trampoline, the Ping Pong table enormously.
there are a couple of kitties hanging around the restaurant, they are so fun to play with.
Spa was open, but steam room was closed (due to COVID concern, obviously). June 26 & 27, 2021.
