Lyra Hotel Plitvice

Fantastic hotel with exceptional staff. I enjoyed every minute of my stay.
The hotel has a great location for discovering the natural and cultural historical attractions in the area. The food in the hotel is also extremely tasty and carefully prepared. The rooms are very nice, clean and very spacious. They also have a fitness center, a shop with local delicacies, and a new swimming pool will be opened in the spring. I highly recommend it.
I will definitely come back.

Amazing new hotel located close to Plitvice Lakes in a beautiful natural surrounding. Staff is very professional and helpful, rooms clean and comfortable, food delicious. What makes this hotel even more superb is its contribution to the local community . I will definitely come back.

Very cute, modern and eco friendly hotel. However, Igor made our visit memorable. He is and all around great guy. Because of him, we now plan on coming back to Lyra, every time we visit Croatia.

Eco-friendly and modern hotel with cozy rooms, good food, and great staff

Lovely hotel! Would reccomend and we are definitely coming back in winter or spring. The hotel rooms are modern and clean, the beds are comfy and large, the staff is super friendly and polite and it’s pet friendly. There are puzzles and board games for kids and the morning sun on the terrace is just divine. The restaurant menu is a bit limited especially if you have a picky kid (however, their fries will save your day), but breakfast is a-ma-zing!

Our airbnb was in the middle of nowhere so we came to the Lyra hotel for dinner. Igor was our waiter and was fantastic with his service & recommendations! the salmon I got was perfectly cooked, the Syrah was lovely, and the tiramisu was a great dessert! thanks for a late-night great experience, Igor & Lyra Hotel!

I'm giving the location a 5 due to its close proximity to the national park. After a day of exploring there, you'll want a short drive to a hotel. Loved the remote control skylight. Lighting in the room is dim. The location itself is sad as the village was heavily damaged during the 1991 war so there are many abandoned homes. This newly built hotel is a testament to perseverance after trauma.

Great hotel with friendly staff who are happy to help and excellent food.

The hotel was built with a very noble purpose, and that alone deserves a five star. My best regards to the people behind the idea and goals.

The story behind this hotel was never mentioned by our tour guide. I only found out on my news feed from BBC. Please spread the word of your noble purpose and the goals of your endeavors so that the world will know.

This place is a HIDDEN GEM! Incredible place in an abandoned border town just a 15 minute drive from Plitvice Lakes. Amazing atmosphere, rooms, and food! But the best part was the staff. They constantly went above and beyond for us to make us feel accommodated and well taken care of, despite English not being their first language. While there wasn't many guests at the hotel due to the end of the tourist season, instead of the breakfast buffet they usually offered, they had prepared a separate charcuterie board, bread basket, and cereal bar just for the two of us! Then asked us what hot breakfast we wanted so they could cook it fresh for us. We could not believe the level of hospitality and kindness from this staff. 10/10 stay at this hotel!!

Lovely hotel 20 minutes from the amazing Plitvice Lakes. Very modern and spacious room in a bucolic rural area.

One of the best hotels in Croatia!

One of the few actual hotels in the area. 10 mins drive from the park and they offer free parking as well. Rooms are big and modern. Breakfast was good and so was the dinner buffet. They also have outside seating area to relax after spending the day in the park.

Very nice new hotel with comfortable bed. The breakfast is great and staffs are really friendly.
