The food was absolutely delicious, the steak was perfectly cooked as well. Nice service and waiting time was pretty short. Definitely would recommend eating here!

Lovely food in the middle of Jelsa seafront. Restaurant has a nice terrace right across the coast as the name suggests. Fresh ingredients very well prepared in matter of minutes. Staff is extremely nice and service is very fast.

One of the best restaurant in Jelsa with great food, excellent service and so friendly. We visit many times when we are in Jelsa.

I am a returning visitor to the island of Hvar. And we usualy dine at our friends/family so we do not try local resturants. One year, we visited Hvar outside the season and we wanted to eat something in Jelsa. Bistro Obala was the only one opened at the time so we gave them a try. We where pleasantly surprised with the price and quality of the food. That was 4 years ago. Now we eat there each year multiple times.

The atmosphere is greate. Even when the place is full, the waiters dedicate their full attention to each table.
The price/serving/quality ratio is perfect.

Everyone in the establishment is doing their best and it is enough to keep us coming back each year.

Great service, great food and super friendly staff. Also, normal prices. We will definetely come back again

Real restaurant and real service (not a cheap cafe) with good food at convenient prices.
Not "tourist" quality, but real quality.

My boy loves the ice cream. I think in Croatia ther is no better Ice cream.

Highly recommend this restaurant! The waiters were very friendly and have lots of seating outside where you get a beautiful view of the water. We came from Hvar town and compared to there, the prices here are extremely more reasonable. Example: Pizza from 40-65 kuna, risotto around 60 kuna, mussels 70 kuna, fish for 100-140 kuna. The bread was delicious- very soft and slightly chewy. We came for lunch & got a seafood pizza and octopus salad. The portions are very generous so we left extremely full. The double espresso was also very good! We are glad we stopped by! Also they accept credit card which is convenient!

Service was really great, seafood was really tasty and the drinks were good too.

Restaurant Obala is on the best place just on the seafront with beautiful view on the Jelsa’s bay🐬🏝🙂🎥
And this cuisine has never disappointed us. They offer also middays meals which is rare on the seaside. We recommend their fish. :)🌺

We stayed at Jelsa for the second time.
Last time we discovered this bistro and had breakfast there every day. This time we passed again almost every day!
The father has his serving post at the ice cream bar, both sons waiter at the tables.
They are all super friendly and serve you their wonderfull meals with a big smile :-)
On the big terras you find yourself at a few meters from the harbor. Every hour of the day is a great time to sit down there and enjoy your meal, coffee, ice cream or milkshake!

Fantastic place right at the waterfront! All fish dishes are delicious for a great price for the area. The staff is lovely, discreet but friendly. For reference, we came back 4 times during our 4 days stay😉
