Bed and Breakfast Vjeko

This is a family owned halfboard place, of which I love the fact that it is located in the gem of island Hvar, making it a place where it isn't overcrowded, where you can leave your kids to walk down the beach and wherever you go the food is made with the ingredients from the island and the sea. That is a rare find in Croatia.

A special rare find is this B&B in Zavala, cause it offers you the best of what you'd find in an isolated hotel but then it provides you with the heartwarming feeling that the owners create for you. Every day you eat hotel rate breakfast and a dinner that is fresh, delicious and served with best ingredients. Owners also serve their own wine, olive oil, figs, oranges and various vegetables, all homegrown and organic. Rooms have spectacular sea view and the restaurants, lounge bars and beaches are all within few steps away, giving you a true vacation feel, where you don't need to start your car to get relaxed. 😎

The stay is Jakas B&B in Zavala was such a great experience! Family place run by friendly and hospitable people who are passionate about what they do, treating their guests with delicious food (the grilled fish or the roe-deer goulash just stunning!). Not to mention their wine, one of the best I've had. The rooms are cute, with well working AC and beautiful views. The beaches (3 mns down the road) are not big but were never crowded, at least not in the August afternoon. Beautifully warm and crystal clear water (don't forget your special shoes for the rocky bottom). Thank you Jakas family for this wonderful time! :))

Amazing hospitality, amazing food, amazing view!
This little find allows you to experience Croatia’s culture at its best! You are made to feel welcome as soon as you arrive by this family owned Pansion.. and the beautiful beach is only metres away!
If you want to get away from it all, this is the place!
You will need a hire car should you want to explore the fabulous Hvar Island... but you won’t want to leave!

Very friendly couple running the business. It is near the beach. Rooms are spotless and very comfy.

Shortly: great price, great domestic food, clean and comfortable rooms, owners are tooo nice and really put a lot of effort... In any case, a place where you wish to come back to.

Ambiente familiare, pulito. Camere con aria condizionata. Prima colazione inclusa nel prezzo e volendo si può prenotare la cena, ve lo consiglio, con menù di carne o pesce. Ottima cucina casalinga con prodotti locali, certuni di produzione propria. Prezzi nella media. Lingua italiana, inglese e tedesco.
Zavala è una bellissima località balneare molto tranquilla, per gli amanti del mare pulito e vita serena.

Maga a sziget (Hvar) egy gyöngyszem, mindenképpen megéri elmenni, a szálláshely nagyon szép környezetben van, közel a parthoz (kb.70m), 150m-re árnyékos strand, mindezeken kívül a személyzet barátságos, segítőkész, és mindenre precízen odafigyel, a szoba kicsit kicsike, de kettőnknek elég volt, azt megemlítem nagyon tiszta és rendezett. Makulátlan kilátás a tengerre a teraszról.
A reggeli bőséges, és minden kényelmet kiszolgáló.
A vacsora is változás és ízletes.
Összeségében szuper 7 nap volt 🥰

Pensione molto bella cibo ottimo,Ci sente come a casa, i titolari sono delle persone magnifiche. Siamo stati contenti sicuramente ci torneremo.

Abbiamo passato 12 giorni meravigliosi ! Zavala e bella, il mare e pulitissimo, la casa di Jakas molto ospitabile, i padroni e personale sono bravi e gentili, il mangiare era ottimo! Consiglio a tutti!
