Konoba Campanelo

Definitely one of the best restaurants in the region. Only 20 minutes from Krka National Park entrance (by car). The food is absolutely amazing, beautiful atmosphere, very nice and attentive staff. Our waitress Nina made us feel welcomed and “at home”. Everything here was just perfect.

Going to Campanelo is always in the conversations amongst my friends, we have all been there many times and from the very first moment the welcoming energy of the wonderful waiters Nina and Ante has made us feel special and at home.
To talk about the food which they prepare could take hours... Every dish is exquisite and a marvel of Croatian cuisine, just the right and correct combination of ethnic with modern. Vegetarian ( and sometimes even pescatarian ) options are available as well, within the set menus, which are presented to customers as stories. Let's all just wait for a while and I am certain a Michelin recommendation / plate / star is in order!
The team in the kitchen lead by Mate already has an extremely good reputation which will for sure become a renowned name in most gourmet loving households in the region and hopefully nation wide.

P.S. The slow cooked cabbage with locally harvested truffles still to this day is the best dish I ever had. The simplicity of the ingredients created such an amazing combination of flavours which gave me goosebumps. If you are looking for an authentic wine from Zagora region to accompany some of the dishes then I highly recommend "Baba Manda" .

Food is amazing; the chef puts his soul into the food. The view is spectacular, green fields around you and the view of the orange sunset in the background while sipping the rosé wine makes the ambience great. Service is amazing as well, the waitresses that served us was really cool and attentive. The quality of the food justifies the price. We took 4 course menu and we were not sorry. Definitely recommend it:)

Very best place in dalmatian Zagora even in winter days. The kitchen seems perfect, all of the food we ate was very delicious. Also, the waiters and the owner are kind. Recommending this place!

Amazing dinnning at Campanello.
It is beyond bold opening this kind of the tavern at remote location. Chef Mate Sucic has recipe for sucess without compromising his own vision; locally (mostly his own) sourced ingredients traditional flavours presented in a modern way. Devoted to meet all guests and visit all tables explaining his culinary philosophy. Sublime experience. Must visit

Different take on local food. Great imagination from the chefs and a play on a plate, impressive how they added a twist with local herbs and preparation styles. The lamb ravioli was exquisite, also, don't expect to walk out hungry, that's against tradition.

As usual great, as usual tasty. Prices high, but worth the quality of food and service offered. A place to recommend.

Went there with my in-laws…it was amazing… the food, the service… everything. Especially the veggies that grow just outside of the restaurant and the chef picking them just to cook it and serve it for the meal that had been ordered.

Definitely a place to visit if you are anywhere near Šibenik. Tasting menu of 5 amazing dishes is 75 Euros which is really worth the price, it is mixture of vege, meat and fish dishes but surprisingly good. We were with our daughter and they also offer a kids menu of main dish and dessert for 15 Euro. Food was really great, service is as great as the food and atmosphere is perfect if you want to escape all the crowd at least for a day. Definitely a place I will visit again and worth visiting

This wonderful restaurant came to our attention via a billboard and we could not be happier! The food was amazing, the waiter was fantastic, and as a big bonus they were so kind and welcoming to my dog. If you are looking for food that surprises you in the best possible way and want a lovely evening out, this is the place to check out. Don’t let the Croatian website scare you off, see it as an extra invitation to discovery!

Wow, wow, wow....
We loved the food here. So many local staples reinvented and upgraded. We had a degustation menu because we wanted to try more dishes and we loved everything. The highlights for us were however the cabbage dish (had my mum cooked it this way when I was a child I would have gladly eaten it all day long) and the spectacular pulled lamb ravioli. Their home made bread alone is so good that it makes the drive there worth it.
This place is top notch. Great, hight quality food, fantastic but unpretentious service, beautiful atmosphere . We really enjoyed our lunch and we will go back for sure.
Note to the owner/chef...we know the restaurant industry very, very well. We know all the challenges of it, we know the passion it takes and we know that to do it at this level, "in the middle of nowhere" is beyond brave and admirable. We wish you best of luck!

Simply, brilliant restaurant!

We came to this restaurant last minute after another had no tables. It was the best meal we had in our ten days in Croatia. The service was wonderful and location magic. We also had three tired children who ate (almost) everything. It was really nice to go to a beautiful restaurant and have a simple child’s meal cooked with care. See you next time for the whole experience!

Tip - for the spitroast or under the bell they need hours because it is cooked over fire. Make sure you book and specify what you want. lunchtime seems to be the main time for eating.

We had dinner with friends and we’re pleasantly surprised by space and even thou it is really off road (25 minutes drive from ŠIBENIK, 45 minutes from Split) restaurant was full. Staff is friendly, I loved serving- simultaneously plates for 6 of us.. Beef tartare was superb, same as lamb filled ravioli - their signature and must try dish.. this very promising young chef will most certainly work more on some other dishes- as we all remarked sauces must be from same animal, reduced maybe with some fruit, add acid- but those are only small things and something to improve in future.. Also sweets should be on higher level, to fallow this well thought menu.. wine pairing- Pošip, Maraština, Korlat CS and finally beautiful Dingač Matuško only added to very nice 5 plates dinner. It is expensive, but we strongly support existence of this type of restaurant in Dalmatia which only elevates our surroundings

Amazing food!!!

In a secluded place with rustic style, there is a story that everyone who loves authentic cuisine and ambience should try. For the first time, I would definitely recommend a degustation menu. Improvements are always possible, but I see the will and strength in the team to do even better, so I am not afraid for them. Keep up the good work!

Very, very good dinner, with amazing Chef and staff. This place is perfect for romantic dinner, team building and much more.. Al food is organic and unique.
