If you're lucky enough to stumble on a roadside restaurant like this... you're lucky enough! We had not long landed in Croatia and were taking the coast road from Split to Zadar when we thought - we could eat... this was the next place we saw that looked like it might have potential and oh my - it was incredible. Such a simple meal of spit roast lamb, roast and grilled vegetables and home made bread - but you won't find much better for the price!

Best lamb I have ever eaten! And not just that. We had breakfast there and it was amazing. Pršut, cheese, kajmak, eggs, bread - everything was domestic and delicious. The people were really kind and the service was excellent. I strongly recommend this place! If you want to taste true authentic Dalmatian food and its true flavor, come here.

New name for good old Torcida restaurant. Parking can be problematic as place is very popular and not enough space so many park along the road on both sides. We did not make reservation so had to wait a long for free table. Also we had to wait a long for our baked lamb with potatoes. Lamb was not excellent but very good indeed.

Probably the best local "konoba" (tavern) experience in Croatia. Food was delicious, large portions, service was excellent, reasonable prices and what was amazing were the views and the accompanying baa sounds from the lambs under the balcony! Loved it! Would recommend!

We stopped here while driving from Split to Zadar and we were not dissapointed!! The service was great for English speaking customers. The menu was reasonably priced and the food was outstanding. They are known for their meat and it was full of that perfect charred flavor. The fried cheese was also amazing and plentiful. The outside view was beautiful as well. Family friendly and easy parking. A must try!

One of the best restaurants in the šibenik-knin county. They make excellent roasted lamb and they make home made bread under peka. For salads they serve organic season salad and fresh chives. Place is ideal for organising business lunches, celebrates like baptism or chrismation and of course the wedding. Staff is great, fast and very polite. It is good to reserve a table of you are coming in a group of 4 and more. Highly recommend if you ever come by.

If you are near Šibenik and you would like to eat best lamb there is no better place than Torcida. Now they have changed their name and they are called Restaurant Vicko, but quality is still 🔝🔝. They are also known for their wine selection and you cannot go wrong here. Definitely must go-to place in 100km radius!

if you are a lover of lamb on a spit, than this is a place to be. the best served lamb in a region. for tourists it is a must see to check out how is lamb prepared in a traditional Croatian way.

Excellent place for dinner, not the fastest place, but the food was great, friendly staff! Make sure you have reservations, otherwise not sure you will have a table.

Dinner for 2 all good. Black risotto was very tasty, mixed grill plate was grilled perfectly. Asked waiter for regular potatoes instead of french fries, their regular potatoes are very soft and tasty. I can highly recommend. Friendly and professional staff.

If you are in croatia and if you love good food. This is your place. It is very close to Krka National park so a combinación is ideal. Delicioso, deliciuos, really recomendado

Recommended to me (an American) by a good local Croatian friend for serving very Croatian food, namely the lamb, and it didn't disappoint. Very good. Also had the roasted pork and octopus. All very good. Actually went here two days in a row it was so good.
