Konoba Capocesto

Were i Croatia for a week around the coast and this was easily the best restaurant experience we had during the whole trip.

I had an amazing sirloin steak and my friends had the tuna. Both were amazing, truly 5/5 experience.

We enjoyed the best meal of all restaurants in Croatia at this place. Superb service, the owner of the restaurant had most of the place closed for the birthday of their child, but we were offered a table on the side of the main part, but were happy with the more private spot. It is not cheap, but thouroughly worth it. Loved every bite, and a fantastic view!

Our meal here was fantastic, along with the service. All of the staff were super friendly, yet professional at the same time. We were lucky to get a table without a booking, and enjoyed a beautiful sunset after our meal. We would 💯 return without hesitation.

We had an amazing lunch experience! The food exceeded expectations. Our server was knowledgeable and gracious and fun. The view was breathtaking. I cannot imagine a better spot.

Great location, view and great food! We spent a week in the city, trying other restaurants as well, but hands down they have the best service and food. We were a group of 7, tried fettuccine, grilled Chicken and calamari, tuna and beef steak and all were really delicious. We would definitely come back if we are in the area. Highly recommend!

We had the most amazing meal and Josip was absolutely sweet and funny. Hands down the best meal we have had in Primosten. I was a little scared. Josip, our waiter AKA our guide through dinner, put a bib on me. I looked at Dave confused. Then he came out with my dinner. I was definitely scared for Dave as part of being my handsome, he would of had to take apart the scampi for me. Josip saw my look and offered to take care of it. Now, we need to take Josip home. What a fantastic time!

We had wonderful dinner at Capocesto. Local fish is prepared by really good chef. Wonderful location and great spot to dine and enjoy the sunset.

This is absolutely stunning experience. Basically you should have reservation week or two prior if you would like to have a table near by sea.
We had St. Jacobs scallops as a warm appetizer, as a main course we had grilled calamary and tuna steak with season salad and bread. Everything was very tasty and well prepared. For our child we ordered shrimp risotto but unfortunately it was not tasty. We appreciate wholetime service and they didn’t add risotto to our bill.
They have good selection of different wines and drinks.
It was lovely dinner with unforgettable atmosphere and dining experience. We loved to come back again and definitely recommend this place 😉

OK, the Google site for this place is a bit confusing. The first info that comes up focuses on the apartment and then there is the restaurant. Essentially, the main focus here is the kanoba which has an apartment above it. My wife and I have spent two vacations here in the last 9 months from the US so I am very familiar with the situation, staying at the apartment above and dining at the kanoba a total of 6 times and knowing the staff by their first names. Trust me, there is no finer eatery on the island. You will be served by top notch waiters who all speak at least Croatian, English and German, have amazing dishes, and by far the best romantic place to eat. It is not inexpensive, even by Croatian standards, but there are so many wonderful dishes and we never had a hint of any disappointment.

Food is great, service is really outstanding, atmosphere and sea view are exceptional. Also best desserts in town.

We had dinner with an amazing view of the stars. The food and service was spectacular. Would definitely go back just for the pasta and the fish!

In my opinion, food could not have been better! My husband and I had a great meal and great evening there!

Wonderful place with wonderful owners! Amazing view from the window directly to the open sea! Terrasse is as well great. Directly on the middle of the top of the town, there is not better position. Simply perfect. On the arrival there were fruits and bananas in the kitchen, coffee too. This is the way how to do business! Congratulation, because many other Croatians need to learn those simple friendly principles.

A place where you get more than you pay for, with great attention to details.
I have been in many much more expensive restaurants, where you don't get such quality and nobody can top the view!
