Lilly's Cozy Cove

We had an excellent stay! Tisno is a lovely coastal town and our apartment was well equipped. Our hosts were so gracious and I would highly recommend. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise from our private patio. Thank you for accommodating us and for the wonderful visit!!!

Had a lovely stay in this quiet, conveniently located and environmentally conscious property for 10 days (before the music festivals start in July). Five of us stayed comfortably. We lounged on the sunny porch as well as the shady, secluded backyard. Tisno is in a lovely resort area with lots of nearby beaches to explore. Joe & Laura are wonderful hosts--ask for cooking lessons or fabulous dinner by Chef Joe. Hope to go back someday!

My husband, dog and I stayed here for 3 months and it was just perfect. The owners, Laura and Joe, are truly special people who do everything in their power to make sure guests are comfortable and enjoy the area.

Laura took us on hikes, Joe cooked us 5-star meals. They even gifted us Christmas presents and made us decorations to feel more at home during the holidays.

This place will always feel like a second home to us, and Laura and Joe like a second family. Don't hesitate to book a room. The apartments are comfortable and the surrounding areas are stunning.

Our time in Lilly's Cozy Cove was a truly amazing one! Me and a couple of friends stayed for a week there to work remotely while being near to the sea. Laura and Joe were incredibly nice, friendly and welcoming! We found the apartment very clean, convenient, well kept and comfortable. Laura gave us great recommendations to visit really nice spots to go to swim. 5 minutes walk from the apartment one is already at the sea for a swim, and 5 minutes further one is already in Tisno with all its conveniences.

The terrace was an amazing place to spend the evening, the surroundings are really peaceful. Their home is very conscious oriented with a garden, compost bin and you can tell they work hard to live very consciously in so many ways. They have two beautiful and friendly dogs that love people and cuddles.

Joe is an amazing cook! During our stay, two mornings we went for their delicious breakfast at their patio and not only the food was super tasty and varied, but our conversations and time of connection with them before starting to work was something we appreciated greatly.

I can only recommend a stay with them and hope to come back in the future. If you want peace, trust, cozy and friendly vibes, good times and lovely hosts, don't look further ;)

This was one of the easiest ratings to give so far. They ticked all the boxes. The apartment was cozy (as the name suggests), spotless and well equipped (with the sense for details). Mosquito nets and a family sized fridge were welcome additions.

The hosts Laura and Joe were friendly and engaged. Don't miss their culinary offerings and cooking classes. And follow the sustainability guidelines.

There are plenty of opportunities in the apartment, around the apartment and in the near and farther surroundings to make your time spent here worthwhile. Highly recommended in all seasons, and also for a longer stays.

I spent one month in this gorgeous place in Tisno. Everything was perfect from the beginning to the very end. The amenities are modern and you will have everything you want. Joe & Laura, our hosts, always do their best to make you feel comfortable and at home and are always happy to help and open to discussion.

They offer extra services like homemade bread and also dinner, its very good when you know that Joe has been in the industry for the decades! It’s definitely a must try.

I also really liked the location of the place which is close enough to the city and the beaches by a beautiful 5 min walk around the sea to the bridge of Tisno. Alternatively, you can also stay in their garden and relax.

Definitely a very good surprise and I recommend this place.

The absolute best place to stay in this part of Croatia! Amazing, super nice hosts. Apartments that are just gorgeous, well-equipped and so comfortable to live in. Very convenient location, close to sea, nature, restaurants and grocery shops.

Also, you just have to try Joe's cooking, it's spectacular.

It was the best winter ever. The weather was absolutely comfortable - and it was on the daily basis!))) flowers and bushes were blooming nonstop, each taking its turn.
Laura and Joe do really love what they do - and it's impossible not to feel and not to share.
Their place is a little slice of paradise. Extremely comfortable apartment, top location (close to everything but away of any hustle) and everything to feel like you are at home. Nothing that need your efforts to get used to.

Just picturesque surroundings, ideal landscape, 100% clear water and tasty food.
Hospitality of Joe and Laura and friendliness of their dogs are the things making us willing come back someday.

I had the opportunity to visit Croatia in April, 2019, and the picturesque village of Tisno. We decided to stay at Lilly’s Cozy Cove as part of a planned retreat. The grounds are beautiful with herbs and flowers everywhere. The accommodations are spacious, super clean and modern. Our apartment was on the 2nd floor and held Ocean views a few blocks away. So quiet and peaceful here.

Joe and Laura were our hosts and very accommodating to all of our needs. Joe is an excellent chef. We were served very hearty breakfasts and dinners daily with a variety of foods. I have a limited diet due to health needs and Joe went the extra mile to make sure that my needs were met. We ate outside when the weather was nice for the first few mornings and nights and then indoors when it was rainy and cool. Laura is the gardener with a very green thumb, and offered herbs and fresh vegetables at meals and in between. She took us on hikes and toured us around the village.

I am already planning my return trip! And hope to come back many times over! Thank you, Joe, Laura, Emma and Roux (their lovely dogs)!

Cozy is an understatement :) This place has everything you need to feel "at home".
Our apartment was impeccably clean and well-equipped (including air conditioning, washing machine, desks for work), which allows you to stay longer, not only for holidays. The apartments have individual balconies/terraces for complete privacy, but you can also enjoy the shared space and terrace where you can try the owners' delicious cuisine (dinners, pastries, breads, lemonades) - and even go to Joe's cooking class!
The building is fenced and has several parking spaces in front of the property. Pets are welcome and can play in the yard together with the two dogs living there. An unquestionable advantage is the quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and at the same time the distance to the beach, restaurants and shops, which are within a few minutes' walk. Laura and Joe are extremally warm, hospitable and nice people! Stay here, you'll not regret :)

Lilly's Cozy Cove - an amazing experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Waking up every day after a great night sleep, drinking our coffee under almond and fig trees, in the backyard, was so relaxing and inspiring. The cottage was sparkling clean and had an intimate vibe. Inside, it had all that you need. Also, from here, you can reach every corner of the Murter island in maximum 15 minutes by car.

Joe and Laura are beautiful people in every way. Their love and respect for nature can be felt in every corner of their home. Not to mention, they are accompanied by two of the nicest dogs ever.

Among the most memorable things in our trip, were the two times Joe made dinner for us. Joe's cooking reminded us how real passion looks like. The food was astonishing, you can notice his experience as a chef. Everything was made out of fresh, local ingredients, some of those coming from their small garden that Laura takes so much care of. So, do not hesitate to have this, it is a must-have.

We highly recommend Lilly's Cozy Cove, it was one of the most welcoming and beautiful place have ever stayed.

Google asks the question: "why was your stay excellent?" Where to begin? If you are interested in beautiful beaches, excellent food, breathtaking natural wonders then Lilly's Cozy Cove is for you.

We have been fortunate enough to experience many accommodations throughout the US and Europe and I can say wholeheartedly, that Lillys Cozy Cove is number one on the list. Not because of what I already mentioned about the beautiful surroundings and not because of the lodging which includes comfort, simplicity and solitude (including AC if needed, washing machine, comfortable bed, environmentally friendly hosts), but because of Joe and Laura Lilly...

Both Joe and Laura's primary interest is in providing a loving, supportive environment for their "guests" (who really feel more like family than guests) and an inside peek of the beautiful area which they now call home. They are also unobtrusive; they are there if you need them and quiet if you don't. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend however, that you take advantage of at least one, if not all of their special offerings (WAY WORTH THE SMALL FEES). We went on a guided hike with Laura and saw parts of Croatia we never would have seen without her. We enjoyed a meal prepared by Chef Joe that you wouldn't find in the finest of restaurants ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!!

We have never experienced such hospitality in any other stay, anywhere...

So pack your bags and visit Lilly's Cozy Cove for a bit of paradise on Earth with Joe and Laura as your guides!

It seems we left home to find another. We just started our nomadic life and this apartment has become our happy place: comfortable, welcoming and relaxing. I am sure we will never forget the long walks in Tisno, the sunny days, the beautiful sea, the great food, the gorgeous hikes, exciting sightseeings and most importantly the cozy evenings. Laura an Joe were the best hosts, provided everything we needed Special thanks for the fun evenings around the camp fire spent together. We will certainly come back to show you how to cook Hungarian stew on the open fire.

Me and my husband have absolutelly stunning experience with Lilly's Cozy Cove and we recommend this beautiful and peaceful place to everyone. We spent 3 months in one of the apartments. It was not only an accomodation – we met two nice people, two wonderful dogs, we got a great food and whenever we got lost somehow, Laura and Joe were willing to help. We would love to come back. <3

What to say after almot 6 months spent wit you...
The first plan was to stay 2 months but we found here so kindness, sharness, joy, laughs and fun that every 15 days we extended for 1 month more !
You have always found the perfect balance between calm and sociable times.
Everyone can find his place at Lilly Cozy Cove : enjoy wonderful surroundings, go hiking, swiming or just stay and relax on the swing or inside the apt.
Thanks to you, we appreciate to meet people of different countries and share wonderful moments around the fire or a table with good food.
We enjoyed every week Joe's cooking, he is a very good chef, open on different cooking culture and prepared with quality products.

We stayed with Joe and Laura for almost 3 months and we know we'll go back!
Joe and Laura Lilly are two of the finest people you will ever meet.
We stayed in two of their three apartments and felt at home in both. My husband and I laughed at the amount of times "cozy" was used in our conversations about our accommodations! Comfy beds, soft towels, a very well-equipped kitchen, clean sheets every two weeks, good wifi. These are the basics.
Now for all the extras- I can't guarantee that you will be as showered with generosity as we were- but based on the other reviews, they make all their guests feel as important and accepted as they made us feel. Be prepared- they will bring you gifts of varying things. Baked goods, homemade marmalade, fruit from the garden, a smile, a ride, a bus schedule, and on and on.
Invitations to safely socialize in the garden. Tea, or coffee, and if you're as lucky as we were, holiday meals prepared by a world-class chef. We had Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Dinner- some of which we were able to have outdoors as a community of Lilly's Cozy Cove Dwellers. In addition, Joe offered a weekly menu with 3 nights of dinners available at an affordable price.
Cooking classes- Which you can also do online if you don't want to travel to Croatia. Joe is GREAT with kids and adults alike.
Nature insights- Laura is a nature expert. She fueled both my and my daughter’s curiosity for plants and trees in the yard and beyond. She knows all the great spots near and far to hike or take in a view.

This is why we are traveling- to find these magical pockets of the world where there is safety, kindness and goodness. We'll be back to Lilly's, maybe even yearly, as some of their guests do.

We stayed at Lilly's Cosy Cove with a group of twelve and we had the most amazing time. Joe and Laura cooked a delicious meal for us and were fantastic hosts. Perfect location and beautiful apartments. We'll be coming back to see Laura and Joe soon!

Lilly's Cove was recommended to us by close friends. So knowing friends of friends, staying at Lilly's Cozy Cove was an easy decision which we now truly appreciate.
Lilly's Cove is a wonderful break from all of the "old city" B&Bs we stayed in over the past 11 days. Lilly's Cove offers a small village picturesque quaintness that we had not found elsewhere.
Tisno is a relaxing peaceful getaway seaside town with nearly mile long scenic waterfront boardwalks . It's within a 5 -8 minutes walk from Lilly's Cozy Cove. April weather is a cool 59 to 67 F degrees. It's invigorating to breathe clean ocean air, view the small boats inviting you to get out on the water and get some much needed exercise walking after a long car ride from Kotor Montenegro.
The cottage we stayed in has everything you need and filled with bright sunflower colors of yellow and green. Its very clean and even has a washing machine!!! Every traveler appreciates not having to handwash clothes in a bathroom sink. The cottage is from everyone else and gives one privacy and quietness. Nice fruit trees, flowers and a garden right outside your door.No city traffic noise and loud music to contend with.

Best of all is the warmth and personal interest you will experience from getting to know Laura and Joe. They offer gourmet dinners, cooking classes and bicycle tours which I highly recommend. They truly show off their care and concern for your well being and love of their community and Crotia.

April is a good time to visit as their are no crowds of people and plenty of places to park.
We hope to return when the water temperature reaches our swimming comfort level. We are from Florida.

Joe & Laura Lilly are not only incredible hosts, but incredible humans with an incredible perspective on what truly matters, and what just doesn’t. They love eachother, their community, and nature. As their guest, I too felt their love. I felt it through their warm smiles, the the meals crafted ever so perfectly, the education provided on a world I knew nothing about and the pride in which I was shown that world.
I slept like a baby every single night, greeting each morning with overflowing excitement about what else this beautiful country was going to open my eyes to that day.
The pups, Emma and Roux were a gift wrapped in fur. Having them near was always a delight. ( If that wasn’t enough, meeting their dear friend Vatra, the donkey, an old soul who brings tears to your eyes with the sheer excitement he expresses for just a moment of your time, and maybe a scratch behind the ears.) 💜
There is a godness in this place. From the landscape lush with olive tree groves, flowers everywhere you look, and the indescribable color of the Adriatic Sea all the way to the moments that capture your very breath if you are willing to be still, and just notice.
Coffee, lavender, olive oil, cured meats, delicious cheeses, ancient architecture and a wealth of history are just a fraction of what you will experience during your stay at Lilly’s Cozy Cove.
This place is truly sacred, and I will forever be grateful for the peace, fullness and content that filled my being upon departure.
