During our second stay at Guesthouse Hazdovac in the charming Kozarica, Island Mljet, we were once again swept away by the tranquility and exceptional experience offered by the Hazdovac family. Stumbling upon this place while exploring Mljet, we were greeted by young Martin, who's not only a student of classical singing but a delightful conversationalist. The food here isn't from a regular menu but consists of daily specials made from fresh, local catch and homegrown ingredients. The balance of quality and price is unparalleled, with delicious cuisine and a breathtaking view of the sea. The rooms are classic and tidy, with beautiful sea views, and the nearby beach adds to the appeal. The evening dinners, with limited seating overlooking the sea, are an absolute must-try, even for those not staying at the guesthouse. With the quiet, unassuming, and incredibly friendly service from the brothers and their parents, it felt like we were visiting family. We'll certainly return to relive the warmth and authenticity of this unique place.

Every time I think about Mljet, the exquisite taste of the fish from this family-run restaurant comes to mind. Truly, it's a gem tucked away on the island. From the moment you step in, you're embraced by warmth - both from the welcoming ambiance and the delightful owners who treat every guest like an old friend.

The fish? Absolutely the best I've had in my entire life. Fresh from the sea, seasoned to perfection, and cooked just right. It melts in your mouth, taking you on a culinary journey of Mljet's pristine waters.

Over the years, many places have come and gone from my travel list, but this restaurant on Mljet stands firm. It's not just a dining spot; it's a cherished memory, an experience of pure Croatian hospitality, and a testament to the island's rich flavors. I'll always find my way back here, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic, unforgettable experience.

We spent 4 nights at Hazdovac guest house and we loved it !
The place is very peaceful. We enjoyed the breakfast and the dinner prepared by the family (the fish is excellent !).

Najbolja usluga ikada. O svemu u domaćinstvu se brinu tri brata s roditeljima. Samozatajni i skromni, a neizmjerno ljubazni i uslužni. Kao da smo došli kod svoje obitelji. Sobe su klasične, ali uredne s prekrasnim pogledom na more i mjesto. Večere su savršene. Nekoliko stolova u hladu s pogledom na more. Svaki dan je jedan mesni i/ili riblji meni. Sve je bilo svježe i savršeno pripremljeno. Ako netko i ne odsjeda kod njih, svakako preporučamo večeru. Samo se treba rezervirati, jer ima malo mjesta. Kupalište je u lučici odmah ispred kuće, a pedesetak metara iza je plaža. U svakom slučaju vratit ćemo se ponovo.

Nous avions pris la demi-pension avec les repas du soir préparés par la maman; une cuisine simple et savoureuse.
Le rapport qualité/prix est excellent. Le cadre et l’expérience nous ont conquis. Nous reviendrons !

Wir kamen auf unserem Entdeckung der Insel Mljet ganz zufällig nach Kozarice.
Nach dem Bad im zauberhaftem Adria und dem Genus der Sonnenbad meldete sich der Hunger auch an.d
Umher geschaut und auf einer Terrasse
gedeckten Tische gesichtet. Auf unsere Anfrage ob da was zum Essen gibt sagte uns der Junge Martin das sich ein Par abgemeldet hat und er kann uns den Tisch gerne zuteilen.
Das ist kein gewöhnliches Restaurant wo man eine Speisekarte finden kann sondern dort werden täglich zwei einheimische Gerichte angeboten, in der Regel eines mit Fleisch das andere mit dem Fisch der aus Tagesfang direkt in die Küche kommt.
Das leckere Gemüse, erstklassiger Olivenöl und der exzellenter Wein kommen allesamt aus der Eigenproduktion. Wir waren uns beide sofort einig das es genau so sein müsste.
Der Martin der uns bediente, studiert klassischen Gesang in Durovnik und hilft seiner Familie in der Sommermonaten aus. Er ist sehr kommunikativ, an vielem interessiert und ich hoffe fest das ich ihn eines Tages als erfolgreichen Sänger wider begegne.
Familien Hazdovac macht bitte weiter so.

La propriétaire est souriante, accueillante, nous a donné plein d'infos et de bon plan pour visiter mljet.

fajne , bikom skratkou od hranici parku a potom tu pivo za 18 (oproti 24 v parku), krasny vylet s mini plazou.
