Konoba Adio Mare

We had a wonderful dinner at this little gem. The view of the sunset was absolutely fantastic. Just keep in mind that there are a few big boats that park for the night around there and might be in the way. The service was very friendly and the food (cheese platter & grilled fish with salad) delicious!

We had our first night on the island seafood dinner here including two appetizers and two entrees. The Konoba Adio Mare is the first of a few small restaurants in a lone serving a variety of fresh seafood as well as other dishes. None of the restaurants were crowded for dinner and the service here was friendly and just excellent. Try the local island red or white wine with your meal and always appreciate the hard work it takes to run a family food establishment. The value for the big portions of fresh seafood cooked and served sea side was great. Thank you again for your family hospitality. We will be back.

A terrific choice after walk to lake & a swim.
Sat outside in shade & relaxed looking out on the smaller yachts ( but not "small" by any means! ) The glass of wine was the largest one I've seen (thanks) & the beer just a perfect way to ease ourselves into the evening.

What a fabulous dinner of salad and mussels with their house white wine. Great view and perfect sunset.

Stunning view of the sun slipping beneath the Adriatic sea in lovely and relaxed Pomena. Best enjoyed with a glass of chilled local wine and delish local cuisine (they had no problem accommodating vegetarians). A few mosquitoes, but nothing which took away from the experience. Really friendly staff and great prices. Highly recommended.

We had finger licking spaghetti. After the bike tour in the national park, we sat down in a restaurant and of course we needed to compensate for carbohydrates. Unexpectedly delicious spaghetti. I've only eaten something similar in southern Italy. Cooked exactly to measure and with an excellent tomato sauce that is neither sweet nor sour, but exactly as it should be. The older gentleman serving may be a bit pushy with his comments. The atmosphere, the sunset and everything else was great.

The best food i’ve had in awhile. Staff were so lovely. No complaints at all we all enjoyed the food.

There are plenty of fancier-looking restaurants here but we just ate the best meal we've had in over a week of travelling around Croatia at Konoba Adio Mare. Simple, fresh, honest food cooked to perfection with beautiful house wine to accompany it. We shared a pasta marinara bursting with flavours of the sea, and an anchovy salad with what tasted like home-grown tomatoes, olives, onion, and lettuce.

If you want to know what Fjaka is, then visit Mljet, and if you want to know what delicious is, then go to this place.

Excellent seafood with local fish, good home wine and lovelly stuff :)

We had a fabulous time here. The food was superb, the recommendation of white wine was the best I had in the island and options for vegetarians and vegans available too.

My friend who is a seafood fan was impressed too. Not to mention the view for the sunset

Everything was perfect. We ate family style and shared the grilled fish, prawns, squid, roasted veggies, fires and spaghetti.

Best food we had in Miljet during our stay. The staff is kind and portions are very generous.

This was simply the best food we had in Croatia. It was the freshest, freshest seafood with home-grown herbs and salads.

I ordered mussels, and the cook walked 15 paces along the quay to take them from a bag in the water. On the way back to the kitchen, he picked herbs from the resturant garden. The mussels were on the table a scant few minutes later.

It was so good that we stayed for a second meal. Late in the afternoon, we watched the mussel bag being replenished. Talk about low food miles! Staff came by with fresh heads of lettuce from the garden.

If you like simple fish and seafood made with the best and freshest of ingredients. This is the place for you.

Potentially the best food I've ever had, good wine and great service. Cheaper than the alternatives nearby. My only wish was that I had stayed longer on the island so I could have gone back.
