My favorite place in Istria! And only chateu winery appelation in Istria. Great wine, beautiful scenery and the old castle with the new cantina. Amazing place for garden parties, events and romantic countryside weddings.

Very elegant restourant. Very unique place and position. A bit expensive juices. Very elegant and elegant music always playing. You can have weedings here and i think it would be a great place.

I came here with my girlfriend for a wine tasting and it has been the best value experience of my life. The wine is unique and tastes great! Amazing atmosphere, amazing service and amazing food! Everything is local and the view is the best I've seen in Croatia, well worth the trip!

Great place for events!

Really nice location. If you like history and wine this is perfect combination. Home made wine and food....easy to reach...

Amazing place with thrilling history, ideal to spend longer time enjoying sumptuous wine, delicious food and surrounding vineyards. There are two wineries: Podrum Belaj and Dvorac Belaj, which belong to two business partners. Their plans are very ambitious! There is also restaurant serving only local food and local products. Far away from typical touristy places Castle Belaj offers you unique atmosphere, authentic experience and beautiful views.

We have chosen Castel Belaj for our wedding ceremony followed by dinner with family. Everything was superb and fairytale like (this coming from a guy).

From the moment you start approaching the castle by road you get astonished by the nice scenery of vineyards and castles' forefront.
Fore sure you will spent 15min just walking around and admiring the green hills around you before entering the castle.

Service is very professional and meals reflect the taste of traditional central Istria. Everything is so good and tasty! Try some Istrian typical dishes like pljukanci with truffels, ravioli with cheese, fuzhi with gulash and varieties of meat.

Do not forget to taste their wines since they offer wine tasting from humongous barrels of wine. They have a very nice Merlot and Chardonnay made in their own production. You might end up buying couple of bottles of each;)

Natural environment and good food from the house. Beautiful view. We found this place by chance and we can say that we were lucky!! A lot of place for children.

What a lovely way to spend Sunday afternoon with friends! Great food friendly service and lovely country surrounding. One of the highlights of our visit to Istria.

Excelent food in perfect atmosphere, the Castle is sorounded by beautifle nature and wineyards from wich the owners produce their amazing wines. Highly recomended
