One of the best meals you can get around. They serve you fish or meat. We got meat and was delicious. The serve you happy drinks all the dinner and refill es h time you get empty. We spent around 32 euros each with dessert and water

My husband and I were staying at a local Airbnb and decided to have dinner at this location. The food was incredible and the service was amazing. We also loved being able to feed their beautiful pup! Overall highly recommend!!

This place was great! Walking distance to the park. The rooms were great especially the shower. The staff was so nice and made some delicious meals! Very accommodating! Would highly recommend!

Cute and cozy rooms right by the entrance to the park. Buy tickets for the park ahead of time so you can use this secret entrance.
The highlight of this place definitely is the food. I've had an almost religious experience with the bread, and the meat platter was nothing short of divine and came with a starter, too.
There's no fixed menu, just two choices (fish or meat) but if your food is this good, you don't need choices. Your guests will love it, and we did!
On top of that the friendly host comes around and tries to get you drunk on delicious Slivovitz... which in totally ok with! 💕
Definitely do stop by here if you can. It's an experience you won't want to miss!

Exceptional place we stumbled along for dinner while staying in the lakes. Came for the Husky (Bingo) and stayed for the food.

The owner was wonderfully charismatic and the service was exceptional. Shots and beer was flowing and the food was delicious and the portions huge. They had both a meat, fish and veggie course so it catered to all style of diners. Would aggressively recommend if you’re staying nearby.

And if you don’t have cash, you can always go and wash dishes.

We only had dinner with our group, stayed the night at a another lodge. Best service we've ever had at a restaurant. Honestly, it didn't even feel that we were at a restaurant, more like we were invited to a home-made dinner at our friend's cabin. The owner is a great guy, he was so friendly and welcoming. They don't have a menu, just a few options depending on the day (we were offered between fish and meat platter). The food was excellent, both fish and meat. We were also offered complimentary schnapps every now and then. They also offer appetizers with bread and cheese and a starter salad with the main course. All in all I definitely recommend the place, well worth the price (around 38€ per person). The price included the appetizer, starter, main course, dessert and all drinks we had for the evening.

Our dinner experience was wonderful. It was like we were invited into their home for a cozy dinner. The baked veal was amazing and the owner and his family were just so lovely. The free flowing homemade plum wine shots and great hospitality made this the highlight of our Croatian trip. Highly recommend!!!

One of the best parts of our visit to Croatia. We stopped in for lunch, they weren't open but the owner offered to make us something anyway (we politely declined) but returned for dinner and was so glad we did. The food was great, the service was super, and the atmosphere felt like you were home away from home. The portions were perfect and the owner offered free samples of his homemade plum schnapps (highly recommend). We left warm, fat, and happy :) Hvala!

Perfect location if you plan on visiting the Plitvicer lakes. The nearest entrance is only a 10 min walk away.
The rooms are simple, clean and cosy.
The staff is really welcoming, friendly and helpful.
We had dinner and breakfast. Both was quite large, fresh and delicious. Considering the amount of good, quality and that you are in a National Park prices are reasonable.
Parking spaces are available in front of the building.
Remember bringing enough cash.

Close to the P3, the service is the best and the dinner is great. The drinks are the best.

Ate a delicious dinner here. It's a set menu with charcuterie starter, grilled main course (either mixed meat or fish), and a dessert. Also plenty of local plum brandy if you want.

We only had dinner so can't say anything about the rooms. But it is very well located close to entrance 3 of the Lakes. The host is extremely friendly. As soon as we arrived he greeted us and made us feel at home. We received multiple shots of his schnapps. You had the choice between meat and fish for the menu which made choosing not that hard. :). Food was very tasty and portion was very large. Price was rather low for such a nice menu.

We didn't stay here but we had dinner two nights in a row. Unbelievably friendly and warm welcome, lovely environment and excellent food (watered down with generous helpings of schnapps). If you're staying nearby I recommend a visit!

We came for dinner, had a great time and tasty food. We took fish plate and meat plate and both were great! There is also a vegetarian option, which also did look awesome (had a glimpse at some other table). There is one fee for whole dinner and you get a starter, salad, main course and a dessert, plus drink (like an orange juice; tea or beer is paid extra) and unlimited servings of delicious homemade slivovica. There is a great atmosphere made by owners, they are kind and funny and make the good time :)

The pin on the map is on the wrong side of the road and the entrance is from the back so we had a 5min problem to get in but it's nothing significant - owners of the property on the other side of the road directed us with no problem :)

We had dinner here our first evening, and cane back the second one for drinks, because the atmosphere was so amazing. Carlo knows how to make you feel at home, he brings out a full menu including freshly grilled food for a very reasonable price. Also, he made us cave for round after round of his schnapps.. Would definitely recommend!

What a brilliant Croatian experience. The vibes were amazing and the food excellent. Plied with Schnaps and excellent food this was an amazing experience for dinner. Highly recommended. No card facilities or menus so bring sufficient cash.

We went there with our family after a day in the national park. For 30€ there was a nice 4 course menu (starter plate, main dish + salad and cake) and a lot of schnapps that was served every now and then by the owner.
As I'm a vegetarian I got a plate with a lot of vegetables and potatoes instead of the meat/fish. The food was really tasty even though a bit cold (which was probably as well due to the fact that we were eating outside).
I can only recommend going there with your family/friends and spending a funny evening with some nice food after a day in the park :)

Karlos Bar/Restaurant is always worth a visit when you're in the area. Its super close to entrance 3 to the Plitvice lake.. unfortunately we didn't stay at the lodge but we ate and drank there two times during our visit. The food is a local four course meal for only 30 Euro. It's either fish or a meat platter and both are really tasty and enjoyable. The experience drinking and eating there is really nice Karlos always helps out with his self made plum slivovice which can make you kaputt the next day because it tastes so pure and good! :D He was an excellent host and we will make sure to visit again if we are ever in the area!
He also helped us find a mechanic when we had car trouble. Definitely check out his lodge and his tasty food.
