If you go to Krka and you have a bit of time to spent than only to go for the main falls, than I would go with these falls. It’s a bit of a drive up the river but it’s the highest fall in Krka and for no cost.
Just be aware, this is not adequate for people with walking disabilities. It’s a walk down (and also steep up again). But should be no problem for a normal fit person.

A very interesting part of the Krka Nature park. My personal favourite because its not so often visited (still provides some touch to the nature) and if you are lucky and visit not during the touristic peak (Jun-Sep), its completely free of charge :-)

Take the path on the right, then right, then right, to have a fabulous view on the falls from far up.
Take left at first intersection will lead you closer, but I don't know if the view is good, we didn't go.

The viewpoint at the top is beautiful. It's a steep hike down with some climbing (and walking through the old mill). After the old mill there is another path down (you have to climb, but there are ropes attached to the trees). The waterfall you will find beneath is insanely beautiful. You can swim there as well. Unforgettable experience!

Good views and few accesses to the falls. Going to the lower level is not recommended for beginners. If you do it outside season the access is free of charge

The biggest highlight of our Krka National Park visit... And there were so many highlights ☺

You must must must visit this waterfall and go allllll the way down. Don't turn back until you're literally at the waterfall. Some challenging parts - so make sure you're wearing appropriate footwear, that you're not carrying anything in your hands (backpacks are ok) and that you're physically able to scramble.

Note: you need to go through the old mill at some point towards the bottom. It's not very obvious that this is the way, but it is.

Lots of parking and a short 350 meter path down to the waterfall. If you want to make it to the bottom of the waterfall, you have to take a right through the abandoned old mill.
Go through the mill and the a small path continues. For this part you should have proper footwear and you will be using little ropes to get back up, a little climbing involved.
The last part is not suitable for kids but great view once you get there.

Beautiful waterfalls, and you don't need to pay for a ticket to see them. Yet again, lots of water mill remains to poke around. Good cliff face walk down to the Falls.

Actually I wonder if this isn't even a nicer spot than the main fall's we all know at Skradin. Very few people here, so it's really peacefull. The views are stunning. Wear correct footwear if you want to go down to the base of the waterfalls. The first step has a steep but correct path. You reach the ruins of the ancient mill and on your left you can reach the basin of the first step of the falls. Quite an amazing and peacefull site. Facing the shore of the pond there is a path on your right, if you follow it you can get to a little plateau overlooking the second fall from the top. Beware it has a narrow part of about 2m don't go there if you are afraid of hights. Now, if you get back to the mill, and go to the right, down into the building, you can climb through an ancient door/window and keep going down, BEWARE this is steep, and in no way the same kind of path, there is a rope on the steepest part of the path. Again this is not for people afraid of hights, small childeren, people with impaired mobility, ... The climb down is MORE than worth the trouble, the view on the base of the second step is amazing, the cool mist of the water is a refreshing reward for your trouble. Adventures drone owners should deffenatly get down here ! Macro photographers, take your macro lens with you, down at the first step there are tons of dragonfly's in all sorts and collors !

Krka National Park is simply magnificent. You come over this plane and suddenly there is the river Krka that cuts deep down and form gorges and spectacular sceneries.

Seen from the viewpoint, it is a short walk from the parking lot (10 min) it's not well signed so be sure to ask the staff for directions at the parking. A beautiful sight of the waterfalls as seen from the top. And a view of the lake.

Stunning & idyllic place. Not crowded. There's a big parking lot where you can also buy a ticket for the whole or just parts of the Krka National Park.

Beautiful nature with hills and valley along the Krka river. Untouched (almost) by humans, it is a peaceful getaway for those seeking the sounds, sights and smells of nature, that cause soul serenity. Enjoy.

Amazing waterfall. When you park car at parking next to main road you have 2 options - one way leads to view point of waterfall and another one down to waterfall. When you reach waterfall you have to go right and through ruin of a stone house to reach the best view point. Last part of path towards waterfall is really steep and could be tough for small children. If you can climb down the view of waterfall is amazing!

Amazing waterfall in Krka national park not on the main part of the park but worth of visit as all other parts of this beautiful place.

Very nice, we like the hike there. It is longer to walk down there then in looks from Google maps. However it's great :)

The best waterfall ever. Explore all hidden pathes and you will be able to see it from above and at the bottom which is just incredible experience
