Girandella Valamar Collection Resort

I went on vacation here June 2022 with a friend and our kids. The moment you walk in the customer service was tip notch 👌, they gave us all custom t-shirts, our rooms had the most spectacular view. The food a buffet style breakfast and dinner was a 1000% for me. It was delicious and a variety of dishes. The pool was great and there's such for the kids to do. I LOVED every second of our stay here. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I was checking for quite some time to decide which hotel to go in Croatia, but this one exceed any expectations. Mainly because of service, rooms, facilities and how they always find solution for you. My wife (on 7 month pregnancy) , daughter 2,5 years and myself strongly recommend this place for families, but not limited as Villas offering very nice romantic atmosphere

We spent our holidays at the Valamar Girandella hotel from July 22 to August 3, 2023, we were three of us in a triple room, a family with a child. First time at the resort.
Very beautiful and well-groomed territory of the hotel, incredible views from all over the territory and crystal clear sea are unforgettable.
Rooms: the ones we stayed in were quite comfortable for a long stay, cleanliness was high, excellent beds, pillows and everything you need for comfort. The only comment - please solve the problem with the flow of water from under the shower door to the outside, because. gum doors do not fit snugly and when the child bathed, the water always flowed out.
We liked the breakfasts and dinners at the Marblu restaurant, they cooked delicious and varied, special thanks to the young cook on omelettes - we were delighted with them), a large selection of dishes for dinner and the quality of cooking pleased.
Our child really liked the Maro kids club - the Lego space and the PlayStation room are organized super cool, for the younger ones there are fun discos and a playroom. Great kids pool and slides.
Beaches: very clean, well maintained and comfortable, cool bars on every beach, Family beach is very interesting for sand building and safe for small children. I did not have enough lifeguards who would monitor safety in case of an emergency. I would also like the entrance to the beaches to be only for vacationers in Valamar hotels, so sometimes the sun loungers and places on the ground were occupied by outsiders, obviously not from the hotel, who were located in large companies, as a result, several times the child and I could not find a free place on the beach, which looks very unfair to me (I think that everyone who comes to the hotel counts on a place on the beach), this is a very important point. I would like to have enough sun loungers and umbrellas for all guests.
In conclusion, I want to note that the complex has a high level of service and organization, all the staff are incredibly friendly and smiling, speak several languages ​​and helped a lot: I would like to note separately the waiter Malio from the Marblu restaurant for his friendliness and the most delicious coffee, the guys from the reception: Tala for help, Ljerka for help and souvenirs for the Son, he was delighted - now his favorite T-shirt, Dino also for help, the guys from the Sun Beach bar, from the children's rooms - all great fellows, it's noticeable how hard everyone tries and works hard and thanks your efforts made our stay really enjoyable, we definitely recommend this hotel to families especially with children!

Valamar in Rabac is just a perfect place for a vacation. The welcome center is a nice touch, removes the burden of finding parking and the hassle with the bags at arrival and departure. The staff is friendly and helps in many ways to make your time more relaxing. Several restaurants are available with high quality food. We have enjoyed it all!

My family and I had an amazing time here! We stayed at the Maro hotel and everything about it was amazing. First when we arrived at the room we were in awe of the cute and fun bunks beds. The kids loved them. I loved that they had a small sink with easy access for the kids to use and a toilet lid for the littles too! Also they had little toiletries for them. They had two play rooms for the children in the lobby. One for older kids and one for babies and you can either go into the room and play with them or you can leave them with the amazing workers who will watch and play with them. Each time we left our kids there the workers were very kind and sweet to our little ones. I wish we could remember the names of the ones that watched our babies. They were so great. The lobby is also SO fun. The kids loved the Disco party at night in the lobby. We sang those songs all day long! The pools are also so great an inside pool and outside pool is such a great thing to have in case it rained. Also the kids pool area being inside is amazing and it was nice and warm for the kiddos. The buffet was great and there was even a little one for the kids to serve themselves.also a huge plus was diapers and changing pads everywhere we went!! All and all we were very happy with our stay and have left already wanting to come back. Thank you❤

Certainly one of the best hotels in Croatia for children and families. High level cleanliness, friendly staff and very good food. Free alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with dinner. Minus is the fact that the restaurant is in another building, a few hundred meters away, but this is not a problem for nice weather. Additionally, I think it would be good to increase the number of children's parks, although this is probably limited due to the terrain itself.

As for the hotel itself, the whole lobby is one big playroom, and there are several smaller ones where children can be left under supervision. In this lobby it is possible to eat a light lunch (soups, sandwiches, salads, desserts) from 2 pm to 6 pm, while coffee and various drinks can be taken non-stop.
The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and fun designed. The toilet is a bit cramped compared to the bathroom. The room we were in has a double bed, a sofa and bunk beds in a separate room, as well as a spacious loggia. The room has a coffee machine, two TVs, cosmetics, towels, bathrobes and flip flops for the pool. Everything is tailored to the children, who are especially delighted with the range of gifts they received as part of their stay. We'll be back for sure.

Maro Suites and the whole resort is such a great place for family vacation. Staff is professional and nice, everything is planned for children, food is great and there are so many activitiea available. One of the best if not best place for families. Dog friendly which is a bonus although we did not take our family dog.

I stayed in the family, every services of all employees and facilities are the best in europe. I appreciate the champagne and cake for my birthday, it was touching. I am sure the next visiting will be again!

Great rooms, staff and accomodation. For kids is great, they have everythinh they can imagine, parents can with older children relax. They accept dogs as well so this is great also.

Great for familys with kids. Lot of fun things to do with kids, they will love it. Also great and not so common thing in Croatian hotels is free open bar near the reception where you can pick up coffee or juice at any time, and there is also snack bar. Rooms are nice and comfy.

We had an amazing experience at the Valamar Resort! This hotel is made with families best interest in mind. The staff was incredibly friendly. We felt like VIP as it was off season and the resort was not overly crowded. The food on the resort is delicious. After dinner make sure to save room for Pingos ice cream, it’s just a 5-10 min walk towards downtown Rabac (cheesecake ice cream is for sure the best)

Great hotel, exceptionally clean sea, fabulous beach. Solid internet connection, free parking, room kept clean. We came with 3y old and there is plenty to do during the day. Also evening mini disco was lovely. Its not cheap but still great value for money, would recommend for stay with or without kids. Only thing for improvement is food for the dinner. If you are in for breakfast you will not be disappointed.

Best wifi i ever had when I was abroad on holiday. Apart from that fantastic food. Great pool for children. Really Great. We will come back. What was really annoying was the fireworks at night 11o clock. At least our children did not wake up. But as we could hear many children did wake up. But it was a wedding at the neighbor hotel...

This hotel fits 100% to Kids and adults 🤩 Maro Club fits all age of kids (starts from a few months old), they helped to take care of our kids 9am-9pm, we paid a bit extra for taking them to lunch and dinner but it’s totally worth it. Papa and Mama also need to recharge 😊 Full day activities for kids and never get bored👍🏻 Amazing staff, special thanks to our all time favourites: Maya, Mario and Philip. So much love to our kids ❤
It’s an all inclusive hotel (food, drinks, beers and house wines), food is good but sometimes we would also go out for some varieties.
Love the beach club, wellness Center (extremely good massage with Areta, very professional).
Pool are like 6-8 of them with different temperature, depth, purpose etc. Always can find something to do/ relax. Never be hungry too hahah.
Hotel helps to arrange other activities as well such as boat rental (see another post from me), and scuba diving.
The private beach water is just so extremely Crystal clear. It’s like a paradise.
We are back because the kids have been asking us to return since April … :) they love it. That’s important.
Room is very clean and spacious too.
But next time I won’t book wrong. Still prefer the premier family suite !! The biggest 😎

A great place for families. Everything is set up for you, playtime in the lobby, kids club so you can have adult time in the spa and a constant flow of food and snacks. Food is to a pretty high standard and there is plenty of variety. The waiting staff are very friendly and understanding of little toddler needs. Views are fantastic and would highly recommend a family bike ride and a walk in to town. Just a little warning, be careful with little ones in the toddler pool there have been a few accidents including our little girl who cut open her chin. Just don't get complacent.

Everything was perfect! We stayed at the V level villas and had a suite with a seaview. We were welcomed with a romanticaly decorated room for our anniversary. The bed was so comfortable, and also the best pillows, we never slept so well in a hotel. The staff made us feel at home. The infinity pool is amazing and has a breathtaking seaview.

5 Star Hotels and the service is also top. Milos is our super waiter and very attentive. Only downside is they don’t seem to have football court for the kids to play football but it’s a super family hotel. Our room has really good view overlooking the sea and the cleaner Elma does a great job cleaning our room.

All the amenities are catered for small kids and very well thought.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Everything was perfect!!! Very clean rooms, location great, service perfect! Staff was amazing, everyone super helpful and positive, especially team from Rebelle restaurant.

Best Resort in the area. Everyone was very helpful and polite. Great for our family vacation.
