Restaurant & Caffe „Velum“

Very friendly waiter, great choice of food, the veggie option was so tastefull and was a huge portion. We could sit outside in early February. I can highly recommend this place. The prices were reasonable.

There was very pleasent dinning experience. We were twice. Fist time we eat pizza Rab and wienner Stack. Next time it was perfect Tarrtare from tuna fir 2 person. Waiters are very pleasent. Great!

This was actually one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. From the nice location to the absolute customer friendly service. The food was absolutely delicious! The filet was perfectly seared and seasoned and the sides are just delicious. We got fresh homemade bread with olive oil and a liquor as well for free. A visit in this restaurant should not be left when you visit Rab. Everything just perfect.

What an absolute gem of a restaurant. We have been travelling through europe for the last 4 weeks and this just has to be THE BEST meal we have had! Outstanding and the service is excellent too. Lovely family business and they really do care. Cannot recommend enough

Bistro Velum can easily stand as an example to many restaurants in Croatia. As a skipper I have visited most of the restaurants in Croatia and I do not l leave a rating if not satisfied. Excellent restaurant! Beef tartare, “grdobina”, tuna steak and Parisian shrimps were really tasty and well prepared. Service is also perfect 👌Fala lipa!

Family-run place with great quality products and authentic menu. If you're interested, Lovro will take you through a tour of Croatian cuisine, traditions and wines. Good value for money at all levels: food, service, wines, authenticity and entertainment.

Everything was really tasty and they are super friendly, also dog friendly. We ate black risotto, few salads, pasta and vegetable soup. They also serve homebake bread, still warm..everything was really perfect.

Best food on Rab! Everything was full of taste, delicious. Best scampi and mussels buzara! Excellent cold octopus salad and black &white fuži with scampi and truffels. Delicious dessert - crumble with smokve and vanilla ice cream! Worth the price!

Be sure to try the house specialty DRIED OCTOPUS WITH EGGS

The restaurant and tables are elegant, service was excellent with friendly staff. The octopus carpaccio was delicious, as well as the other dishes.
