Monty's Dog Beach & Bar

Gorgeous beach. Rocks and stones, crystal clear water. Tons of dogs having fun. An umbrella and two sunbeds was €17. Parking in the public lot was maybe €5 for four hours. Most drink are average prices but wine is more than most places (€4 for 0.1 vs 0.2). Would go back again and again.

Wonderful place, great bar and great atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and tolerant. Highly recommended if you would like to have great time with your dog at the beach.

We loved the beach! The view is amazing, so is the sea. The company we had for several days was energetic and friendly, both dogs and humans (visitors and very friendly staff :)
As our dog is very active, always on the lookout and willing to meat every dog and every person, we were constantly active, so there wasn't a moment of peace for us (shout out to the dog owners with active dogs ;)). But nevertheless, we really enjoyed our stay there, and we hope we will come back soon :) Our heartfelt recommendation for the place!

Very nice beach, and the great thing about it is that it's a dog beach. Toilets are available, which is a plus. Clear water, there is a chance to dive in 2-3 meters deep water. I can recommend it to those who come with dogs and want to swim with them.🐾

Our dog is very anxious but here she had a great time. Capuccino and cocktails are great at the bar. There is a small training park and the view is great especially in the evening.

This place is lovely. Plenty of shade under the umbrellas or on the covered beds, nice drinks and easy access to the sea with the dog. He loved it.

A very nice beach, when we where here the sea was full with fish. Tha beach has toilet and a place where the dogies can play. No entry fee and it has a small parking. Even if you don’t have a dog I suggest you to visit this beach.

Cool place for the dog's and people . there's a cool bar where you can buy a beer and ice for people and stuff like beer,ice and pom fries for dog's ! Nice nice nice

Romantic, beautiful and not very frequented. Doesn't much visitors, peoples.

A Shangri-la for dog owners - finally a beach where Princess Nala Fluffybottom can roam free. Great atmosphere, lovely staff and like-minded patrons. There is a car park, bar with food and drinks and a changing area. Highly recommended for people with hairy four-legged children.

Such a great place for dogs and doglovers. And prices are really fair! Don't miss to visit this bar when coming to Rab!

Perfect place to spend holiday by the sea with your dog. There is a free parking right by the beach, water shower for the dogs and also bowls for the water. You can rent for a reasonable fee sunbeds and umbrella (or large sunbed). It is a peabled beach with slow access to water which is great for dogs to play. We were there by the end of august and it was not crowded, it was possible to get an umbrella at any time. Also dogs visiting the place were well behaved, no conflicts. In the bar at the beach you can get various drinks for you and also a "beer" for your dog. There is always pleasant chill out music that is not too loud, which is good. I highly recommend this place, we had a splendid time, together with our dog and wathing other dogs as well :-) I wish there were more places like this.

Great dog beach! Nice bar with very polite and honest staff. Very relaxed place and I wish there were more beaches like this! The sea is warm but it also has some refreshing currents - great for hot days.

A wonderful place for those who love their hairy child - dog 🐶 The waitress is service oriented and friendly. Our dog and we feel allways comfortable spending our time at this beach.
