We nearly didn't go because of the complainers of Google reviews but we are so glad we ignored them and decided to go anyway as we really would have missed out!

The food was really good!! 😋 we had the tomato soup, muscles, fish with veg tagliatelle, steak, roast vegetables and the baked potatoes. We shared all of it between two of us and all of it was delicious. The portion sizes were also decent and was too much for two people but we powered through as it all had great flavours.

The cave looked epic especially when it got dark and lit up. It was also nice and cool when we were dying to get out of the heat.

Staff were friendly and super attentive.

Also dog friendly and staff were kind enough to bring them out a water bowel without us asking. The dogs also appreciated a cooling place to hang out.

All in all great experience. You should definitely go.

Travelled to many places around the world . This restaurant is unique vin its ambiance. Its got a natural cave which they converted into a restaurant. The food is great and the young man's who's family own the place looked after us very well ,both the occasions we visited them.Will definitely recommend this place.. 👌

If you get the opportunity to visit grota you won't be disappointed. I was in a group of 3 and we ordered different meals and tried each others meals. We agreed all 3 meals were excellent. The setting is unique built inside a cave with fantastic homemade wooden furniture.

Great place! Good food, friendly staff. A very good choice for family or a romantic dinner. The place looks very good and we hope to come back someday. I specially enjoyed the fish plate and local wine.
Ps - because it is actually a Grote (as the name says) the phone signal can be pretty much bad.

Very nice restaurant, you can eat inside of a cave, at the entrance of the cave or in "normal" part of the restaurant. I would recommend eating in the cave, it is nice ambient, and it's much cooler during hot summer days.
Food is excelent and you really get value for your money. It was very delicious and the portions are really big.
Waiters are very polite and patien (they don't mind taking pictures. Big thank you to the waitor working on Sunday, August 22 2021. 😃).

Lovely place with a little cave, nice view perfect food. From the road you can't really tell how lovely it is, it's definitely worth a visit.

We had a mix of different meats and fish, everything was grilled to perfection and the fish was fileted right in front of our eyes

They have a real cave which is beautifully decorated, definitely unique.
