Awesome and friendly place with hostel-like vibes. The hosts are very kind, and so are the guests. The best camp on the island if you are looking for chill.

Yes! If you are looking for nature & peace, I felt like I am in a peaceful community. Everything is small, cosy, ppl are nice, simple, there are no parties... 🙏

A big + is the kitchen with all equipment and also a fridge, which is great. Owners were also very flexible, very nice. A big + are also an electric wheelbarrows 😮 so u don't have to carry heavy luggage from your car to the camp (parking is a few min away from the camp, but very safe). Toilets are clean, kitchen also.

Maybe there is a small -, but what can they do about it, the ground is made from red soil (Italian terra rossa), so you have to be extra careful that nothing falls down on the ground.

Otherwise in Luka there are no crowded beaches and you can find lovely lonely spots, a few min away from the camp there is also one good market, it has almost everything you need. I loved Luka also because it is still very authentic.

We stayed here late August - early September. This place was the highlight of our trip to Croatia. The camp felt so homely and welcoming, everyone we met was so friendly. The facilities provided at the campsite are so much better than in any other campsite we have stayed at. Which all makea the price is incredible!
The pitches give you good privacy and there are several common areas where you can relax and meet other guests which was great. The kitchen had multiple gas stoves you can use which and also any pots, pans, utensils and glasses - what a bonus!!
The common areas and facilities were always clean and tidy. The camp is well looked after and the hosts should be proud of what they provide.
We met Christian during our stay, he was so knowledgeable about the island and Luka, and also very friendly. He was so helpful around the camp and kept the place clean and tidy. Also he was great company, with his best friend, Otis the cat!
We have fallen in love with this island, which is mostly due to this amazing campsite and the wonderful people we met whilst staying there (and Otis!). We can't wait to visit again and will recommend this to so many people.

Great place for nature lovers!
We were there for 2 nights with a 2-year old child. We had a great place for the tent in the shade and each of the 20 places have some privacy because they are situated on more levels. The kitchen is fully equipped and they made a great lounge space.
My highlight: open roof shower (showering while looking at the trees above - priceless)

A small, private camp, reserved just for tents (there is a parkingline outside the camp, just 2 minutes by foot away) is situated in a light isolation in a pittoresque village Luka on Long island Croatia, and it is surrounded by olives and untouched nature.
Still, everything you need is just a couple of steps away (5 minutes by foot): The see, a small restaurant with island specialties and a shop. The maximum number of people who can stay in camp is 30.

We found a place for tents only, small size, clean, cosy… with shared facilities ( kitchen area with fridge and freezer on top).
We enjoyed this experience far from the huge industrial camps with vans, bungalows etc. Back to want camping is really all about.
Also very nice to walk a few minutes and be able to have a swim in a not crowded turquoise sea!
In a summary: great place to go if you want to have an authentic experience of Croatia far from all the tourists.

I was there in the summer 2019… Fantastic place for those who love nature and simplicity for camping. Creative and ecological details to provide you with everything you need, even the fridge! Relations with managers based on trust, flexible staff and interesting people! the sea can be reached on foot.

An awesome Camp with very nice owners. We loved the kitchen and the other people that hang out there. If you like a rustic charme with the luxury of an open kitchen and nice people, you will like the place. One big recommendation: when you arrive in the afternoon don´t try to put up your tent and stuff right away. Just hang out in the common area chat, have a beer, take a cold shower and start using the electric wheelbarrow to transport your stuff to the camp site when it has cooled down at 7 or 8 pm.

A good place for travelers, pretty bad for tourists. Lots of nature to discover, awesome people, great atmosphere. Really nice and cheerful owners. There's kitchen with all of the utensils, outdoor chill place, showers (though the water is sun heated, so only cold showers in the morning). You can rent electric bikes to tour the island!

Super cozy and helpful staff when we needed for an emergency. Highly recommend if you want a cute camp with creative touches. The outdoor shower box looks like a design piece with a curved metal layer and round stones on the floor. Just the shower could have a bit more pressure, but it's quite hot and cozy. Bathroom was very clean. Kitchen had all the equipments needed for a good food after hiking around the beautiful beaches on this that became my favorite island - but only went to 2 :p.

Camp Dugi Otok is a lovely campsite for tenters :) The location is amazing and the owners are really nice. There is a fully equipped kitchen and even a pizza oven! We really enjoyed our time here and felt very welcome in this familiar atmosphere where we met a lot of other people. Hvala Valentina and Toni :)

Best small camp that has all you need. Kitchen, and very clean facilities, place for a tent among the trees. Above all -friendly and family atmosphere! I'm going to stay there again and I'm already looking forward.

Perfect for those seeking for a simple quite place in the nature, made with love and care for guests rather than for (in the meanwhile) standard croatian campings with swimming pools and no soul at all. Shade in the morning, cause the sun rises behind a mountain. Fridge, kitchen for cooking, clean showers and toilets with soap and toilet paper. And the village is not extremely touristic, but has a shop and 2 restaurants.

A great camping, with lots of "personal" space between tents, surounded with threes and greenery, superbly equiped kitchef ( pots, pans, plates, knives...), a shelf in the fridge + freezer, electricity you can use in common areas, clean and a hub for friendly interesting people who preffer not-main-stream tourism. It is 2-3 minutes walk from the vilage, a good local shop, cafe and the little restaurant. Great location for exploring the eastern part of the island. This small camp is run by a friendly your couple whonspeak several languages. Do make reservations in mid season due to little spots.

Negatives:
We payed in kuna and the rate the owner converted the price from euros to kuna was higher than what the course was. We payed 15 kuna more because of this. So we sugest you pay in euros not kunas.

15+1 euro / night / person (in july-august) was a bit high in our opinion, however comparing to other camps in the island this was the cheapest option with all inclusive facilities and above all not crowded. HOWEVER If you are group larger than 2, check the prices of appartments and rooms in the island - you may find better/cheaper options.corelation between camp prices and appartment prices in the island are a bit strange.

All in all we had great time, made some great friends with fellow campers and are looking forward to return. Recommended with 5 stars!

Very chill camp with super friendly and helpful owners. Small, personal and lots of thoughtful details like outdoor shower on stones, stone plate for soaps and well-equipped kitchen. Clean and neat!

We had a great time. The camp itself has a pleasant vibe. Futrhermore, it provides all the nececities (electricity, wifi, fridge, freezer, kitchen, toilets, shower, hot water etc.) and all of that for a good price. We highly recommend it.

Great camp! We had everything we needed and the owners are very helpful and friendly. The island is beautiful with lots of things to do.
