Bike & Kayak Centar Karika Vodice

Ivan is a real professional and a passionate in his job. I rented a decent bike (Orbea Alma H50) from him and after a short pre-ride talk when he asked me where I plan to go, he adviced me to go with tubeless wheels, rather than tube ones. He explained me, that these land is demanding and it’s very easy to get puncture. Between the mountains, far away, with nobody to help around kilometers it’s not a good vision. And yes, it happened, I got a puncture on a descent near the Vrana lake riding on „Arauzona” trail, the sealant did its job and sealed the ture perfectly with the air pressure drop and I was able to go back to my start point. Also, Ivan told me a lot about the cool paths near to Vodice or Tribunj, gave me some tips for Murter island. The bike was well prepared, set up and with SPD pedals, like I asked him. I am very satisfied with the fact, that I chose Ivan’s company Karika and if I will be here, next time I will go back to him for a rent. I highly recommend Karika company to everyone. We rented a two-seater kayak from Karika and were very satisfied. The company has different types of quality kayaks, and the kayaks are in working order, clean and well equipped.
The owner is accommodating, adaptable, reliable, punctual and has a lot of experience.
He knows the area well and gives good advice on places to see and how to make the most of your time.
He also gives tips on how to kayak and safety tips on the weather forecast ie wind and wave movements during the day. Our top recommendations!

Contacted Ivan via WhatsApp. He replied very quickly. Hired a double Kayak for 4 hours for 200 Kuna (around £20). Ended up being a little longer but it was no problem. Had a great time and he gave us some tips on where to go. Beautiful scenery. Well worth the hard work. We travelled to one of the nearer islands and stopped for drinks and food, then rowed back!
Life jackets provided.
I would advise you buy some ‘sea shoes’ from a local store as 95% of the beaches are stoney. Also watch out for the sea urchins!
We also hired his bikes provided by our hotel & cycled to Tisno. The bikes were in good condition (they both needed some slight repairs but nothing that made them unrideable. The front suspension lock out stuck on one & a very squeaky brake on the other). They both came with a lock so we could leave them and walk around near Tisno. 2 Bikes were 240Kn for a full day (£24ish)

We did a guided kayak tour with Ivan to the island of Prvic. There we had a snack and drinks in a small bar. Ivan guided us through the town and told us about its history. Afterwards there was still time to go swimming. We would book the tour again. Thank you very much!

During our stay in Vodice area we have used Ivan's services 3x . Ivan has really good quality of kayaks , he was helpfull all the time. What we appreciate the most he prepared for us day trip with transporting kayaks to Murter island. I can only recommend his services.

Ivan is great, very helpful and speaks good English. Contact by SMS or phone is better, because email has some delay.
All other activities and rentals in Croatia seemed closed or not existing, but Karika was open. I rented a sea kayak and paddled around some islands.

We rented 2 kayaks from Ivan, at a very good price, for 3 hours. Very good kayaks and equipment, including a dry bag. Ivan gave us a laminated map to bring with us and talked us through options for routes to take around the islands. All in all, a lovely way to see the islands and Ivan is very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

This kayak tour was so much fun. Ivan is a fantastic guide with lots of local knowledge and he clearly loves his job. If you are in the area I very much recommend doing his tours. He will give you incredible insights and you’ll get to visit a cute village

We rented 2 double kayaks from Ivan for 4 hours to visit the island Prvic. It was an amazing experience. We also rented some SUPs. The price was very good and Ivan was a great host. My wife and I did Ivan's kayak tour. I've been kayaking before but this was a totally different experience. The power of the Adriatic is softened by the coastal islands but you still get a taste of its force. Ivan is easy to get along with and loves what he does. His local knowledge of the area really helps you get a feel of the Croatia's history. If you are like me and end up upside down in the sea, he has your back. So no need to worry.

Recently did a Karika "Trip to the History of Vodice" bike ride. The proprietor, Ivan, was our guide on this fabulous ride through the Vodice countryside to visit some of the nearby historic sites which included remains of Roman settlement, rural churches and a fabulous restored "bunja", a workers shelter.
Ivan was an enthusiastic and fascinating guide and the bikes were a delight. This was certainly one of the highlights of our Vodice visit.

Don't look futher if you want some kind of adventure in Vodice / Šibenik.
Ivan is great guide who seems to know every road and interesting story about this area. Highly recommend !
