Super schneller Service, super freundlich. Hatten nach dem dritten Tag einen Platten am E-bike, er hat uns einen komplett neuen Mantel drauf gemacht (unserer war schon sehr abgefahren) und einen neuen Fahrradschlauch.

This is a tricky review to leave. While travelling in mid-Sept 2023 we needed a rear puncture fixing on one of our Specialized electric bikes (had run out of tubes). We left the bikes here and picked them up an hour or so later. We didn't use the bikes until the next day 20+ Km away and found that the one that had been repaired had developed an electric drive fault. Also the chain was suddenly prone to popping off the rear gears (on the lowest cog). We put it down to bad luck and just got on with it for the rest of trip.

We have just taken the faulty bike into our local Specialized dealer for investigation (of the drive fault). It turns out that;

1. the rear wheel on the bike has been swapped out for a Kone wheel.
2. The wheel is also the wrong width for the frame and contains none of the magnets necessary to engage the electric drive. So that explains the fault that developed and also the fact that the chain kept popping off the rear gears.

There is no way this could have happened anywhere other than at this repair shop (the bikes had not been serviced or left at any other repair shop since we bought them and we have only just found the time to have the fault fixed). I also don't want to speculate why this was done. But I feel obliged to leave this review as a warning to others to be observant of the work that is done.
