The staff was polite and nice, the food was great. Portions are more than enough. Lamb was incredible (says dad).

We visited the restaurant late in the evening while driving by. They were nice enough to cook us a meal even though the kitchen was close to closing. All of the food was delicious and we even had enough leftovers for breakfast the next day. The service was friendly and very fast. A great roadside place to visit if you're in the area.

Great food, atmosphere and staff. Great and comfy place to visit when and if you have a chance. Tomato soup was great :D
Trout was pretty fine too. Would recommend.

Only bad thing is the lack of vegetarian dishes :(

We often travel from Karlovac to Slunj, so we often have lunch at the Savić restaurant. This restaurant has a long tradition and is one of the oldest in the area. Restaurant Savić is therefore located on State Road D1, in the village of Budačka Rijeka. Of course at Savić's you can eat either fresh pork or freshly roasted lamb from the spit. The restaurant is famous for these dishes, of course, along with many other delicious dishes. The lamb was extremely tasty, soft, juicy and well seasoned just right. The pork was soft as butter, delicious, the baked potato, served with the lamb, was extremely tasty, exactly as it should be, neither soft nor crispy, perfectly seasoned. But before all these delicacies, we ate bean soup ( grah sa slaninom ) with bacon. I haven't eaten such a delicious soup with beans for a long time, all praise to the chef. The ambience is pleasant, the beautiful terrace in the shade especially contributes to a good mood with delicious food. The staff is extremely friendly, polite and professional. The prices are acceptable.
