Love the ambience- a part of it looks to be a cave. We were greeted warmly and were also given complimentary snacks to go with the wine. Highly recommend the Dingac Violic if you’re a Zinfandel fan.

The setting is beautiful. The wine on delicious. But this place really shines because of the fantastic service! Served by Tamara - she was so knowledgeable and kind.
We went back because it was so wonderful.

Best atmosphere in the the down fro just chilling in between walks, exquisite selection of wines and perfect finger food to go with it. Highly recommend it!

Very good and indeed the recommended drinking option in Dubrovnik. You want to go here for your wine rather than to flock on the stairs in the center. The waiter does a great job explaining the grape variety of every glass. Affordable.

Absolutely amazing service and wine selection. We walked in, said what wines we liked and were offered a taste of a comprable Croatian wine (which was amazing!). We ended up drinking a few glasses. Thank you! If you like wine, come here 🤩

What a place this is!!! As an avid wine lover we were so happy to find this little gem tucked away on one of the side streets! Came here 3 nights in a row and Milos tended to our every need. On the 3rd night we had the meat and cheese Platter which was awesome!

I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a relaxing place to eat/drink.

Walking into the Bakus wine bar in Dubrovnik is like walking into another world. This beautiful and homey cave like atmosphere make for the perfect place to relax and have a glass (or two) of wine. The service is good and the toilets are clean. Plus it is nice and cool inside on a very hot day! If you are looking for a place to escape the hectic tourist scene of Dubrovnik, this may be the perfect choice.

Excellent croatian wine tasting experience! The service is great, very good recommendations to discover local wine. The white and rosé sparkling wines are delicious. The cheese platter is very tasty. Highly recommended!

Bakus Wine Bar was a great find in Dubrovnik, this is the only place on our Croatian trip that we visited more than one. Ivan was awesome, you could just tell him what grapes you normally drink and style of wine and he nailed the recommendations every time. He was knowledgable on wine, culture, history, geography and we really enjoyed the conversation and the overall experience. We were impressed with the service, the atmosphere and the Croatian wines. Would highly recommend on any visit to Dubrovnik.

We were on a tour and peaking thru the window of this cute little wine bar when Ivan opened. He made this the most memorable stay of our trip! His extensive wine knowledge is outstanding along with history of the area and better history about the US than us.

All of our tastings were spot on and we enjoyed all of the Croatian Varietals that were served (only Croatian is served - beer (also delicious) and wine. Even my pallet of "Chardonnay No Way" was corrected in such a classy way, Ivan made a Chardonnay drinker out of me! (stainless steal cast is the key - not oak barrel).

When one of my family members, who's not a drinker still had the best time, this tells you something. Add this to your list of cute, quaint stops with a glass - or 4, within Old City.

Reopened April 6th. Brilliant little wine bar with owner passionate about local Croatian wines. Great interlude to your day exploring Dubrovnik.

Lovely wine bar with cave walls in the rear and Bond villain furniture to suit 🙂 Great service, nice wine, and superb local gin and tonics. Better than any other I found in Dubrovnik's, low spirit quality, "cocktail" bars.

Place to come for a quality drink!

Ivan was our server/wine connoisseur. He was knowledgeable beyond comprehension about not only the wines in house but all wines. He had personable side bar conversations with my girlfriend and I which made our visit even more intimate. The looks of this wine bar are amazing and the wine is incredible. Definitely recommend

Best bar of our entire trip! Most beautiful old bar with a real cave inside. Delicious local wine. We stumbled upon it when they had an older man playing guitar and singing local Dalmatian music. We stayed for the whole night and made friends with the owner and his daughter who was celebrating her birthday there. Such a treat to hang out with locals. Great service and very kind. Gifted us local cherry liquor at the end. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location, ambient and great wines. It has not a wide choice of wines, but it has a great ones to experience the Croatia. I would highly recommend to visit this place. I was there last summer and the service was not knowledgable, so if you do not know the wines it could be problem, but it has a good wine card so it is hard to miss.

Cozy little wine bar with indoor and outdoor seating. Nice ambience and friendly service. Good place to relax from the crowds in the big city.

We spent one evening and one whole afternoon at this place tasting different wines. We really loved the atmosphere and the wine as well as the food platter.

Milos is a great host. Really knowledgeable and passionate about the wine he serves. Reasonable prices for a quality product. Best wine bar in Dubrovnik by far. Do not miss out on visiting here!
