Dominican monastery

The monastery is beautiful, serene and near a good, decent priced restaurant for lunch. Also, the beach nearby has a crystal clear water, a small beach with pebbles and is perfect for snorkeling.

This monastery is located next to the abandoned building known as the Hotel Bastina in the beautiful Bol village on the island of BRAC. The gorgeous aqua blue water is crystal clear and the pubs inviting. The Dominican Monastery was closed the day of our visit but we really enjoyed the walk. Watching a young couple play ping pong in the forest close by the monastery and smiling at a tan labrador as he dug a hole in the sand to bury his ball. There was peace and joy in the sunny moment in the village of Bol.

Beautiful monastery. The best moment to visit is late evening.

Pretty average expedition but the church is gorgeous and very interesting with the speech of a church guide
