Dining here was a brilliant experience. Firstly, the atmosphere of the restaurant was historically beautiful. The large wooden tables set within the well-preserved walls were like a trip back in time. From where I sat, I had a great view of the chef preparing the food and cooking it over the coals.

Secondly, the food - all prepared at the farm - was so delicious. Their farm to table mentality leads to fantastically pure and delicately nuanced flavours. Wine aged in their cellars besides the curing hams, olive oil processed from their own olives, and of course, the meat farmed and slaughtered by them. One item that really shone on their menu was the simple desert of ricotta and honey. You couldn't ask for a more perfect finish to such a filling meal.

Finally, the service was great. Attentive and well-paced. The owner kindly gave us a tour of the cellars where everything is prepared. It was a fantastic night!

Warm welcome, even before they opened. We were soaked and they let us warm ourselves with their fires and prepared food for a group of 12 people in no time. Top quality grilled food and hospitality.

Very simple food with the best ingredients from the farm, fresh, quality, little or no condiments - just plainly “fantastic” . Stopped in for dinner from 1/2 hour drive thru mountains & vineyards from the Brac Riviera to this beautiful, serene, detailed garden 1800’s style restaurant.
Amazing, a Croatian best kept secret!

We have been there tonite as a group. The food and service are excellent. The one and only real agriturismo on the island of Brac. Everything you eat and drink is locally produced in an amazing high quality. We loved it and will certainly be back again.

Very nice restaurant and hotel. Swimming Pool always open and very good pillows in the clean room and balcony with stunning view. Food was good and hosts very friendly and proud of their establishment. Gave us a tour trough the old barn where wine ham and cheese is made. I was very sad not to be able to give a good tip since the room had be to paid cash and we had just enough with us. So be sure to take cash.

Very nice experience, they make everything themselves, from the wine to the lamb, cheese and ham. A lot of meat, which is not necessarily my taste, but it is authentic cuisine. We were shown their very old house with authentic presses and wine cellar. Order in advance if you want the dishes prepared 'under the bell'.

A great spot for dinner. A family home for 800 years. A restaurant for not quite as long. Lamb roasted on the spit. Lamb where the fats all there, crisp, giving that awesome flavor. Your either bought up on it or your not. Hard to learn it. I’m from NZ so loved it. Then accompanied with Pickled onions, home cured ham, cheese, ash roasted potatoes, home grown olives, wine, bread and oil. Not sure slow food gets much slower than this. All grown on the farm. A family with true passion for what they do. Make sure you drop in. The old cellar is preserved with wine press and stored potatoes. All the home made liquor. Includes a cure for COVID. A rare spot. Check out the old oven.

An incredible dining experience from start to finish. The restaurant serves homemade food in a beautiful setting. The owners are extremely friendly and even gave us a mini tour. Would highly recommend the home cured ham and also the lamb. The restaurant is cash only.

Extremely tasty food - mainly meat and dairy products (local Dalmatian culinary specialties). The staff is very kind and polite. If you find yourself on the island of Brač, visit this tavern. And if you find yourself in the opportunity take a look at the charms of the tavern and its traditional splendor and smell going back 800 years. P.s. do have a taste of theirs local liquor ;)

Food was delicious and the waitress was very nice. We had a tour in their cellars after were they store their finest grapas and wines, produce their olive oil and food.
Place to come and visit and eat great food.

20 min from Bol by car. Yes it's rural place but you can access to Bol where Zalatani rat beach and Loverecina bay where is super child friendly because of sharrow chore sand beach perfectly relax place. 25 min from sumartin of the port of Brač. The accomodation is super nice with English and German speakers. One of the best things is here we have restaurant and wine cellar. At that moment we stayed, the restaurant was quite overwhelmed and bit slow to serve foods. When you get super great foods, I think you should forget you were waiting a long. Please ask what is the today's fish because if you get monk fish, you should try it! It's soooo yummy and worse while to eat.
Let me talk about some about accomodation, it's clean. It's spacious. It's well maintained. Very good water flow of shower. There is a pool for fun to kids. There is a breakfast you can get café, tea, omelette, hum and cheese. You can reserve via airbnb and you should. Please note if you reserve via other online such as booking com, you need to pay by cash. Credit cards can not use here. Overall experience here for staying night and eating dinner were super great. I will definitely stay for next time in Brač!!!

Must-go place while in Bol. Make no mistake. For me food in Croatia is a big issue, it’s always the same menu wherever you go: octopus salad, risotto, pasta, pizza, meat and the famous $200 grilled fish of the day that doesn’t taste much of anything. At Konoba Tomic it’s different, you get Dalmatian home-made food in a place that will blow your mind (the premises are from the XV century). I had lamb on the spit made right there, you can even go and watch. The potatoes were cooked on the charcoal and delicious. Their home-made ham is very good. They only serve their home-made wine (they press the grapes themselves). Order a glass first to try it though before ordering a bottle.

It’s just a 15 minute drive from Bol to this little village( they open only for dinner so maybe call and reserve)
Yes The place is 800 years old and I must say the owner has done an amazing job at carrying forward this legacy.Their kitchen is self sufficient with the ham, cheese, olives, olive oil, wines, prosek ( Croatian aperitif),honey, pickled gherkins and onions, vegetables and lamb/chicken all of it from their farm. It’s literally all farm to table experience.
The owner is super friendly and gave us a lovely tour of his winery. The food was ofcourse amazing and my recommendation would be the cheese plate and grilled lamb. I guarantee you will love it!

Excellent service, food and overall experience. I stayed in Bol for over 2 weeks and this was much better than any restaurant in Bol. Highly recommend ordering lamb on the spit prior. The meat and cheese platter was also excellent. You can buy homemade rakija and olive oil.

A fantastic experience at this 800 year old winery. We got a fascinating tour of the old winery and cellars then a delicious meal of cured meats and cheese produced there followed by lamb on a spit cooked on the fire. Wonderful!

Amazing place in the middle of Brac. Beautiful setting, with a cozy dining room / tavern that holds the fireplace where they grill your dinner. Possibly the best lamb I've ever had. Super friendly family as well - they showed me the wine cellar while the food was being prepared. I'm eating here again tonight.

Absolute must visit in Brac! Amazing history, hospitality and food. Best lamb on a spit I've had. Olive oil, cheese, wine, brandy all made there and all outstanding.

Absolutely wonderful place to eat! Anything they do on the grill is to die for, but especially the lamb :) everything is done over coals from a fire and is super fresh!

Highly highly recommend!
