Nature park Kopački rit

Lovely place for a day trip! Kopacki Rit is a national park in Croatia and visitor centre can be found here. Parking, a cafe and clean toilets also available!

Visited twice. First day the board walks, second day on the water on a small boat. Best way to see the wildlife.

Awesome place to ride a bike, road or mtb. Routes up to 100km possible. Beautiful! Almost no traffic at all.

Everything is new and refurbished. For naturelovers, there is a lot to see. Nice interactive room.
I hope that people that come and visit will not brake content in Interactive room any futher, like they did.

Beautiful and so serene nature reserve full of wild natural beauty!
Absolutely highly recommend for anyone visiting city of Osijek and Baranja region!
Probably the best time to visit somewhere around late spring and early summer although early autumn also can be great!

Ps. While in beautiful Baranja region, you have to visit famous local wineries with high quality traditional vines, restaurants with traditional meals (riblji fiš, perkelt, kulen...) some amazing villages with preserved traditional rural architecture, nearby Josip Broz Tito's part time residence in Tikveš, ...

Beautiful place that every birdwatcher should visit, we especially liked the guided photosafari on a little boat (not the green tourist boat)that took us through beautiful landscapes into the real heart of the park, almost reaching the Danube river. That is the only way you can appreciate the wide variety of animal life that inhabits the park. Never seen so many White Tailed Eagles before in my life! Dozens...i wish i had known before!!

Beautiful nature, fresh air, nice trails

Amazing nature, lots of birds, canoe ride was physically challenging but very relaxing mentally. The guide was relaxed and​ let us paddle at our own pace. We had wonderful time there!

Excellent outdoor family adventure. Also, good spot for bird watching. Best time to visit in spring when waters are high and migratory birds plentiful!!

Very good choice to take a break from urban hectic atmosphere. Wildlife and preserved nature found virtually everywhere. Frogs, turtles, and of course swans as well as doesens of other birds (including cormorans) are attractive not only to birdwatcher but to almost everyone. With electric boat fare with accompanying guide you'll enjoy even better this preserved nature's ride.

Definitely worth a visit. The coffee shop has nice outside seating but do not forget to bring mosquito repellent!
