We stayed here for two days with our landrover defender. Weren’t sure if this campsite was for us (we like small campsites, away from people) but we got the best spot, next to the sea! Toilets and showers were clean and even though the campsite was pretty busy it didn’t ‘feel’ busy. All campingspots were pretty private and spacious. The owner was very nice too! So I would definitely recommend! (Plus we hiked up to Sveti Ivan Mountain to see the sunrise. That is a must do! Set an 3.30 alarm, hike about 5,5km up and you’ll be right on time. One of the best experiences ever! See the last photo).

Simply fantasic. Quiet, relaxing, year round open, always green. Very nice settings, beautifull beaches. Owners are more than nice to everybody. Speaking English, German, Czech, Slovak Polish.... and probably Croatian as well. 😀 Very clean facilities.
Planty of shades at the tent site, good for caravaning or apartments also. Hiking, bicycling, swimming and diving.
We will be coming back for sure.

Nice camping site on shady hill side overlooking bay. Good for smaller camper vehicles. Cleanest sanitation, price ok, friendly and helpful reception. Gets full quick, so arrive early !

Awesome place! The road to get there is a bit tight around the village and also the parking spots. But with some patience you can find a nice spot.
Beware, if you are travelling with a camper longer than 5 metres, be mindful of the tightness.

It is a must-go-to-and-stay-a-while place! Well organized, extremely friendly hosts, everything works, fantastic views, nice and shady camping spots and calm area with various small bays and beaches to explore!

Here is the long story:

I love this place and so did my partner and family.

It is situated on the hill and you will have fantastic views over the water or onto the mountain with the most beautiful and peaceful sun sets.
Yes, there are not many attractions such as waterparks but the remoteness is what makes this place so unique and you can rent a Kanu from the camp or bring your own.
If you feel like more action, you can walk 500m into town on the other side of the hill for grocery shopping, scuba diving, hire a small or a big boat for your family to explore the small islands and bays nearby on your own private excursion.

The big plus: Sandra and her Husband are well organized, friendly, treat the customers like their family (they gave us and our elderly people a lift to town) and love what they do.

The island:
Hilly and with lots of wine (more red than white, try the Plavac Mali (red) and the Marastina). Just visit and do tastings in one of the many places which you will find along your way - you cannot miss them ‘cause they are literally everywhere ;-)

If you like seafood and especially oysters or want to try them, then you’ve found your spot!! Oysters are farmed and harvested eco-friendly in nearby bays and channels - all with no sand which I found very nice and you don’t find that very often. You can buy and eat them from the stalls near the farms which you see along the way or from any local restaurant which advertises. Fresh fish can be purchased from “Plankton” fish market (also on google) or simply ordered from the restaurants. ;-)

We explored the city Ston with the famous „Great Wall“ in the south and also drove up to Orebic to take the ferry to Korcula, the birth place of Marco Polo.

Hint: Take a day or two to drive around the scenic Island but don’t stay in Orebic or Korcula because it is way to touristy and overpriced. ;-)

Wonderful place! If you love the beauty of nature, this is the place to be. The campsite is lovely, the people are very nice and it is in walking distance of a small village with restaurants and a small supermarket. Take the walking route at the sea, very beautiful. Would absolutely recommend this camping!

This is for real campers... YAY! :-)
Its too small and too steep and twisty to get the huge camping vans into here, so people with tents are in the majority.
Secluded, quiet, beautiful trees, super-quiet beach. This is what campsites should be. Lots of wildlife.. birds, lizards, etc.
Lovely family run the place.
THANK you to the owners (and kids) for a great stay.

I don't think its possible to find a better camp site. (One thing I would improve is at least another hot water shower for both bathrooms)
