They serve fresh fish there, from the catch of the day, so sometimes some things on the menu aren’t available.
The location is quiet, away from the loud bars, parking directly next doors.
The food was excellent and the service very friendly.
Prices are fair for the quality.
Dogs are welcome.

Great fish restaurant with tasty domestic Adriatic seafood and cozy rustic atmosphere. Probably the only restaurant in Medulin lead by local owners for years.

The best dinner in ours holiday

Great fish food place with a predominantly domestic note. Fish choice varies by the day and the catch, so you will mostly just go with the flow. We ate mussels a la buzara and bravette with prawns and scampi and were really pleased. But a warning, the place gets really crowded at night so you should make a reservation at least a day early, if you want to have the good seats by the windows. Excuse the picture, it was taken mid meal and I am no Instagram food photographer.

We went there on sunday for lunch. At 1:00 p.m. they serve fresh fish. We had grilled fish... what to say... very good

Kind waitresses, excellent food. The restaurant only serves dishes with fish/seafood. You can also taste fish caught on that particular day. Only cash payments are available

As a Medulin local (for 1.5 years now), I can heartedly recommend Mižerija as one of the only two places worth eating in the village. And definitely the most authentic one.

Place is run by fishermen families and just next to old Medulin harbour. Men fish in the morning and their wives serve food in the evening. This means that the food is fresh and NEVER from the freezer (believe me, this is NOT a standard in Medulin).

Mižerija is one of very few places which are open in Medulin year round. Food is served only during peak summer season, in other seasons it works as a cafe.

My favourite starter is Bavette, followed by the main dish, the choice of the fish caught each day.

Prices are roughly 50% cheaper than in other places.

The view over the harbour from the tables is lovely.

So, ditch the tourists traps and come here instead.

Not the fanciest but the best fish restaurant in Medulin. Place where local fisherman gather, fresh fish always on the menu, prepared traditionally.

Very cozy place, surprisingly good fish and large portions, would definitely recommend.
