A truly mesmerising experience in the middle of nothingness!!
Highly recommended!
The walk to depths of the cave was made much more interesting by our guide Annamaria - her stories and interesting take on the structures underneath make it a great experience!!

Amazing tour and team. We was today there and we forget an jacket for our daughter. The team helped us and we’re able to the cave. Our guide lead through the tour in two languages. Please check upfront the time, when the next tour start to avoid waiting time.

Recommend visitings the cave and the park. Amazing views. The cave is cold but not too cold and simple hoodie is enough no need for pants. Maybe bring gloves because the handrails are made of metal so they are about 2 C cold.

Such a lovely experience.
There are guided tours every 1.5 hours to visit the caves, so you should check the tour timings before going there, as it's quite remote.
We missed our tour by 15 mins, and had to wait for around 1 hour before the next tour. But it was worth every minute.
We had to hike up to the cave around 10-15 minutes, which can be tough in peak summer. We went in September, so it was not the bad, still got though.
Right at the door of the cave, there was a sudden temperature drop and we could see a white mist/fog. The temperature inside is a constant 7degrees. So a jacket is a must.
There are 4 levels accessible to the public, the stairs are sometimes steep and slippery, therefore sport/hiking shoes are recommended.
The guide AnnaMarie was knowledgeable and kept us entertained with facts and stories throughout.
Definitely recommend a visit.

The place is awasome! If you are visiting during summer time, make sure that you bring water and what else you need to protect from sun and heat. At the park entry you can buy drinks, water and icecream. The cave itself is amazing, could stay inside for so long. Bring a jacket or thicker shirt with long sleeves cus inside temperature is constant 8C, no matter what outside conditions are. Cave tour is guided by certified guide. The guy was awasome! Cave is 345,8m long but offers so much to see. Entry ticket is 50kn, around 7€, which is pretty cheap for a cave like that with a guide. Highly recommended even if geology is not your thing!

Amazing cave to visit and learn about it. To get there you will have to pass through nice piece of nature and see which flora/fauna lives/grows here. Cave is amazing, spectre of colors inside is thrilling. And if you like cold you will enjoy it as all the time temperature is 8°C

Grabovača park is a perfect place to go for a walk in the nature if you are passing by. It's close to the main highway and easily accessible by car. There are many educational trails and pathways through the forest and little hills, as well as a lookout. The main attraction is Samograd cave. It is beautiful 345 m long cave with constant temperature of 8°C. The guide explains everything perfectly during the cave tour. This is a must see if you are passing nearby.

This place is an excellent wonder of nature. Lika is beautiful, but forest, cave and pits in Grabovača are even better. Be sure to come here if you're visiting nearby. 🙂

Very beautiful caves with a nice tour.
Just make sure you be there 20 minutes before the tour starts (see website). Because it is stil a 10-15 minute walk from the parking/ticket shop.

Nice cave. Good, open guide. Good English. Quite an uphill walk to the entrance of the cave, only 15-20mins but hot, hot, hot.
