Sol Cafe

We have been on the island for several days and visited a lot of restaurants, so we decided on this one as well. In addition to the fact that it is located in a good location (close to the ferry port), its exterior is already tempting you. The people working in the restaurant are very kind, smiling and know their job very well. Besides the wonderful staff, there is also the excellent food that these people prepare. Also, they have phenomenal coffee and superb cocktails. All recommendations!

One of several restaurants that line this street. There is seating only outside, the inside is reserved for the counter and kitchen and the toilet. The staff is friendly and actively asks if there are any other requests. There was water on the house and a treat for the dog without us having to ask. Overall the staff seemed to be very dog friendly.

The athmosphere was pleasant, it was a windy evening without clouds in early darkness, the staff quickly set up small table lamps (LED) and folded the umbrellas. Unfortunately the wind knocked over another guest's glass, perhaps wind screens should be considered as a future investment.

The food is solid, very good for the price. The portion size is more than adequate and for the price quite generous measured against other EU countries. The sweet potato fries particularly stood out, I've never had better. The food had a good bite and was not squashed by sauces, many unfortunately save on quality here and replace them with flavor-enhanced sauces, so I was pleasantly surprised that this was not the case here.

Offered are breakfast, brunch, dinner with appropriate drinks.

The only drawback in my eyes is the toilet, this is not handicapped accessible and very small. But clean, tidy, it does not stink and all hygiene items that you expect were replenished.

Overall a pleasant experience and earmarked for our next vacation on the island of Hvar. The tip (which can only be handed over in cash, not via card payment) was more than deserved.

We ate here all the 3 mornings we stayed in Hvar.
What kept bringing us back? The lovely food, the friendly and warm service and the seating and overall cleanliness.
The menu is quite varied and everyone has something to choose from.

We ate there several times while our vacation in Croatia.
The Beyond Burger is a foodgasm and I love that there are vegetarian options offered which is kind of rare in Hvar.
The food in general is really good, the service is great and also the view is top. Would definitely recommend.

The service at Caffe Sol was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making recommendations that enhanced my dining experience. Situated right in the main square of Hvar town. We had breakfast here before boarding a ferry to Split. My husband had the eggs Benedict and I had the granola with yogurt and fruit. Both meals were delicious and the service was friendly.

We have been vacationing on Hvar for the last 10 years, and I must tell you that this year we found this restaurant that has the best coffee, which is served with an excellent breakfast in the morning, while in the evening you can combine food with cocktails mixed by excellent bartenders, in addition to food and drinks, I must to praise the excellent restaurant staff who are friendly, full of energy and knowledge. All recommendations for this restaurant and don't miss their burger :D

Decided to try this restaurant after our host recommended.its tiny restaurant an the main square with incredible food and service.our waiter momir was super nice and environment is amazing. We had different bowls for lunch and it was very flavourful and very fulfilling.

I drank one of the best coffees and the best breakfasts in Hvar. The food is very tasty and served on handmade clay plates. The staff is nice and very professional and the location is top! I definitely recommend it!

Caffe Sol, a recently opened establishment on the beautiful island of Hvar, exceeded all my expectations with its delightful breakfast options and an impressive array of refreshing drinks. During my visit, I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of service, the inviting ambiance, and the delicious offerings.

We had a fabulous meal, the waiters were very friendly and helpful. Coffee was great, location is perfect. I reccomend it to everyone and trust me you won't regret it. I'm definitely comming back here.
