We made a booking to stay at the the "Merima 2 Luxury & Modern Apartment for 7 with pool". We made the booking through Booking.com.
We were advised it was acceptable to pay our deposit of €929.50 via Paypal, which we were more comfortable with as opposed to a bank transfer since we were dealing with strangers.

We dealt with Martina T. who was extremely unprofessional and rude.
We paid our deposit and Martina wasn't happy she had to pay Paypal fees due to the fact we used the "buying goods/service option".
As a result of this she cancelled our booking and blocked me on WhatsApp which is how I was communicating with her. She stopped answering our phone calls and didn't respond to emails either.

Eventually she refunded us €858.22 which is significantly less that what we paid €929.50. Fortunately for us Booking.com were able to intercede on our behalf and provide the correct refund amount. However we were waiting a significantly long time to receive our refund.

I would avoid dealing with this company at all costs if you are thinking of visiting Novalja. Especially Martina! I would strongly suggest her boss provide a refresher customer service course. I travel ALOT and have never had such an unpleasant experience with a booking.

Lastly Martina stated this company manages over 300 properties in Novalja, I would suggest you enquire if the property you would like to book is managed by Kunestra prior to booking.

I hope this review saves someone a negative experience.

Sehr unseriös. Die zocken einen nur ab. Warte schon seid 2 Monaten auf eine Rückzahlung von den. Erst sind die echt freundlich aber sobald die erste Zahlung eingegangen ist hört man nichts mehr von den. Besonders diese Martina ist sehr unfreundlich und total unqualifiziert
