Amazing place for learning about Croatian wine, tasting them and just having a great time. We were looking for a place to try local Croatian wines and some information about wine regions and Luka has delivered much more! Thank you so much for your hospitality and just being this authentic great guy and professional!

We popped in to get a bottle each to take home after our trip to Croatia. The very lovely man working was really helpful and didn't try and oversell very expensive wines but listened to what we wanted within our budget. Gave great recommendations for us both and we've left very happy! Highly recommended to visit if you want a bottle of wine while in Dubrovnik. They also stock a range of vegan wines (Cross check on Barnivore!), and organic wines.

An extremely nice owner, who welcomed us very warmly from the beginning. You immediately notice that Croatian wines are his passion and that he loves his job. We felt very well advised and the prices are also very fair.
We were even lent glasses so that we could drink our bottle in town.

We discovered this enchanting enoteca right next to our Air BnB. Quaint, cozy and classic collections of wine for every palate. We were pleased by the owner’s honesty when discussing Croatian wines- incomparable flavor profiles as there are MANY native grapes! Support this shop and get educated on Croatian wine 🍷

A very friendly store, really made to feel welcome by the owner. He explained all the wines and where they came from and helped us in a friendly way. No hard sell. He really made us feel at home and welcomed into his establishment. While we did not buy, I can certainly recommend for the service with a good selection of wines from across the region and country with a good variety of reasonably priced bottles and the more luxury end too.

A wonderful wine shop carrying Croatian bottles from across the country. I came in to browse and was warmly welcomed by the owner, Luka, (who also owns the neighboring restaurant, Mama’s Pot Tavern) who shared tastes of regional wines and told me about Croatian wine production and culture. I enjoyed his philosophy that the best wine is the one that you most enjoy drinking with friends. I highly recommend visiting Enoteca to learn about Croatian wine and enjoy conversation with a Dubrovnik local.

We were recommended an excellent, inexpensive red on our first night, so we came back a second time to get something to take home. We ended up getting a couple bottles, each of which had an interesting history that the store manager was eager to explain. A great place to learn about Croatian wines.

I have been to this wine shop a year ago and owners Tavern mamas pot this may 2021. The wines were very good and we let the seller recommend the to us the wines of our taste based on his experience. The local wines he sold us were just amazing so I ordered some wines for my friends wedding. The service was prompt professional and in excellent communication. Thanks Nik!

Good range of Croatian wines and superb recommendations! Also offers a chance of decent wine tasting to enjoy with your meal at the restaurant next door which seems to be run jointly with the wine shop.

A great little store with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The guy in store helped us identify a gift for some friends using our very vague details from the wine we’d had in a restaurant the night before .

Update: the Matusko Dingac we got thanks to Rick Steves was not too enjoyable. If you’re looking for a super chocolatey, port-like wine, you’re going to love it, but if you’re expecting a dry, red, drinking wine you’re going to be disappointed. The Grgic placac mali and Posip were both good. But neither were as good as the cheapest of Stina’s white wines, which came highly recommended by Enoteca. We ended up getting each of Stina’s wines and all of them were superb!

This place had me the minute I saw gluten-free penne with truffles on the menu.

In an area where it’s hard to find gluten-free food, Enoteca was such a delight to stumble upon.

It was such a gorgeous night, a great server named Nick made my martini just the way I liked it and they didn’t make me feel horrible when I realized I didn’t have cash to leave a tip.

Note to yourself: you need to tip in cash throughout the city. I’m used to adding it onto the card and was unprepared so I had to return the following day.

I highly recommend this sweet spot with their careful, attentive service, peaceful old town vibe, and delicious options.

Perfect place to get good recommendations for Croatian wine. Owner was helpful and kind and they had so many varieties of wine! :)
