Mikkis Croatian Kitchen

We recently attended the inaugural cooking class of 2024 and had an immensely enjoyable experience. Mikki, our instructor and host, exuded warmth and friendliness, making the session both informative and delightful. We highly recommend this class to anyone eager to master the art of preparing authentic Croatian cuisine!

VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND ! This was a magical experience! Picking your own herbs and harvesting your own eggs while learning from Mikki in and out of the kitchen was amazing. We had our teenage daughter and 20 year old son, both of whom thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This is so much more than a cooking class, it is a unique culinary experience. Mikki is out of this world and meeting her beautiful pup and learning about her family in Croatia and Australia earned us a new friend. Hope you’ll come visit us in Atlanta one day Mikki, the kids said “Mikki is the BEST.” Seb is looking forward to joining your online beta class. Thank you for making this my best birthday ever!

One of the coolest experiences we had on our vacation. Im typically an introvert but felt so comfortable and welcomed right away by Mikki and the group was so fun! This is a MUST for your vacation. We got fresh eggs from the chickens, cut fresh herbs from the garden, kept the wine glasses fun and had lots of laughs!!!

We did an evening farm-to-table Croatian cooking class at Mikki's home and absolutely loved it. The food was absolutely INCREDIBLE and so so so fresh and flavorful. The home is in a common neighborhood outside of Old Town so it was cool to see where normal Croatians live and Mikki shared a lot about their family traditions. Her garden is amazing and the best part was picking fresh herbs and ingredients directly from the garden. We loved it and would do it again. Oh and we are dog people and got to meet her lovable dog which was a great bonus!

What a fantastic experience!! Mikki is so warm and welcoming, generous and knowledgeable. It was lovely to leave the city and get out to a true Croatian home and garden. The food we prepared and cooked was fresh, tasty and so delicious and there was so much we got to take some home with us! We thoroughly enjoyed the evening - it was a highlight of our time in Croatia. Highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟

Such a fun and entertaining night from the second you set foot in Mikki’s stunning outdoor kitchen! The atmosphere is fun and lighthearted, I had a smile on my face the entire evening, and it’s currently still sore from laughing!
If you enjoy having a drink in hand and a stomach full of delicious wholesome food, this experience is for you!

I booked this wonderful experience as a surprise for my boyfriend and we had the best time ever with Mikki! We made some incredible Croatian dishes with products from her garden and even catered for my awkward dietary requirements. We left the evening with huge smiles and yummy food. Couldn't recommend Mikki and her Croatian Kitchen more!

Dinner in Mikki’s garden was an absolute delight during my stay in Croatia. Mikki curated an experience that was filled with care and precision to detail. She hosted an intimate evening in her amazing gardens and kitchen! Delicious and informative-we were all in awe of her!

Mikki was warm, welcoming, and informative. She has a beautiful home and garden. We prepared a delicious traditional Croatian meal together. Our group would highly recommend this experience if you are in Dubrovnik!

We really enjoyed Mikki's class- she is creative, confident and has a wonderful sense of humour! She catered very well for me as a vegetarian non-drinker which I deeply appreciated.

Mikki was warm and welcoming. It was terrific to learn how to make a good polenta and pesto, amongst other things.

Had a great experience with Mikki. My wife and I were lucky enough to have it just to ourselves. Mikki was kind, funny and interesting. She taught us many dishes during our visit (July 2022) which we have recreated since getting back home - albeit not to the same standard! The little garden of fresh herbs and produce along with the chicken was so heartwarming. We had such a great time sharing stories and hearing about Mikki's fascinating life. Such an inspirational person. Afterwards we she gave us lots of advice of cool things to do we would never have known about or considered if we hadn't met her. Truly memorable and great cooking experience with plenty of refreshments ;)

Such a fun, wholesome evening. Mikki is so lovely and down to earth, I don’t think I stopped laughing the whole evening. The food was delicious. I especially loved tasting and learning about Rakija. And little the hint of home (Australia) was a very unexpected, but welcoming surprise 😊

What a great experience! From collecting the eggs and herbs through to making the meal we had a wonderful time. Mikki is so knowledgeable and shares her expertise in a relaxed manner. She knows so much about Croatia and goes above and beyond to give a unique experience. We'd do it again!

What a fabulous evening. We wined, dined, laughed and learned. Mikki is the perfect host. The meal was absolutely superb and we were treated to the inside story of how to make Peka and more. Her garden where some of the products are sourced was wonderful to walk through. The homemade/handmade products unique and easy to pack. She even arranged a birthday cake, part of the reason for the evening out and together with a truly authentic experience it was a night to remember. Thank you Mikki.

Fabulous hands on cooking experience - fresh, farm-to -table eats and drinks including homemade wine, limoncello and Rakia. Mikki was a lovely host and instructional chef! Highly recommend this experience! Very memorable…Fun, learnings, and laughter!

Hele leuke ervaring om mee te doen aan Mikki’s kook klas! Mikki maakt haar eigen kruiden en gebruikt de groenten uit haar tuin om mee te koken. Ze geeft je een hele rondleiding in haar tuin en verteld je alles over de gerechten die je maakt tijdens de klas. Haar enthousiasme en vriendelijkheid zorgen voor een fantastische ervaring die ik zeker zou aanraden als je zo’n ervaring wil doen!
