The place is very nice and cozy. Sweets were very delicious. We found this place after visiting Karmelita and we were very happy because this is the only place I think In this street. This area is not crowded. We ordered some dessert and I liked them very much because it was not very sweet. I could feel the real taste of fruits. Service was also very good. I think you can add this place like must visit after you visit Budai var, because it's not so far from this place. Prices are also very good.

Good place to eat breakfast, well-decorated, cosy space and very friendly people unlike what we find most of the time in Budapest! They make us feel at home! Thank you! Keep going!

Cute spot not in the tourisy area. I got the chocolate cake and the raspberry cake both were delish. Prices were very good too!! People working were super nice!!

We have been returning here for years now, and it continues to impress me. There’s a huge selection of traditional (Austro-)Hungarian cakes and desserts, as well as some international selection. The staff is very friendly and the whole place has a great ambiance. It has a lot of space and is rarely too crowded. The prices are also correct!

I came across this place after visiting Budapest' central market hall. Kemenes is located in a non-touristy street, the price of food reflects this. We paid around 2,000 HUF for 2 slices of traditional hungarian cake, 1 americano and a mint tea pot. Both slices were delicious, as well as the drinks. Staff were very friendly and efficient. I would happily return if the chance arises.

Great selection of cakes and pastries. Personnel is professional, quick and helpful. Cakes we tasted were delicious, kids were more than satisfied. Also, the price-value ratio is excellent, giving the fact that the place is in the centre of Budapest!

Was on the hunt for a specific cake and found it at Kemenes. The service person that helped us choose our cakes was very helpful and friendly. We got to choose our spot to sit and have the order brought to us and enjoyed every single piece we tried! Great experience overall.

Far superior to Anna opposite the Central Market. There's a far wider choice and excellent quality but cheaper than Anna...and without the 15%rip off service charge either. A lot of people fail to see this place as it only has a single row of small tables. The interior is very spacious and has a good counter display with a choice of good sugar free options too.

We luckily stumbled upon this place during our trip to Budapest. Let me say this: they have the best ice cream we have ever tried.
The staff is very nice and always made our experience amazing.
The ice cream is truly delicious and the scoops are quite large, but still affordable.

Good coffee and portion sizes and very close to the central market hall. The spinach ricotta focaccia was great!

Amazing paleo cake 10/10. Cheesecake was also good. Friendly service. Interior is pretty, plenty of space. Haven’t tried their food or coffee though.

They have a good variety of cakes. The staff are super friendly and speak English fluently. It is also a good spot for studying (calm and there are power outlets everywhere)

This bakery is so cute. Cakes are excellent and the inside is very amazing. You can go there eyes closed!

Next time you serve someone an eggs and toast breakfast, you might want to offer them butter, salt and pepper with it as well.

Great place for breakfast, coffee, cakes and lunch. Well priced. During our visit we came back to this place twice because of the delicious food. A cozy but spacious restaurant with good taste of music. I would recommend the "mango smoothiebowl" and the "Giant Breakfast". Both delicious!
