Auchan

This Auchan is literally massive! Auchan supermarkets, on all outskirts of Budapest, usually are big and spacious, but this is something else. I can't think of a product and available brand which you wouldn't find here, and not only food. Together with all the other, also big, shops inside and outside (if you cross the parking area, there's also an outside shopping centre with additional shops like Deichmann, Nike, C&A, Tezenis/Intimissimi/Calzedonia outlet, to name some), it's a good retail area, which you can reach via public transport from Budapest.

Gérard Mulliez, the founding chairman of Auchan, opened his first store in 1961 in northern France. It was the first in Europe to combine self-service, discount and the 'everything under one roof' principle. Today, Auchan is one of the most important French retail groups and is present worldwide in 12 countries on 2 continents, with 1,774 hypermarkets and supermarkets and 340 shopping centers.

Good place for shopping

I think it's the biggest supermarket store in Budapest with a large variety of everything. They have a big electronics and household section. The best thing about Auchan is that it offers a large variety of breads and bakery items. It's quite outside the city but public transport is available to reach there.

In a place in Hungary where people most people don't care much about anything including the people in stores and things like that this place stands Hungary on its ear. I don't know what happened but these people in the stores selling products were very professional knew exactly what they were selling comma and provided excellent service including demonstrations and discount prices. The only thing that was a disappointment was that I chose to have a hamburger for lunch and it was terrible. the rest of the experience was unbelievable and you have to go to this place and look around. I always criticise hungarians for not knowing what they're selling and this is true most of the timeperiod but I would travel halfway across the world to go to this place and buy products from them because they seem to care.

This place is huge, so huge, in fact, they have blocked off a section because there's just too much space! Due to its size, they stock a huge variety of products.

Very big and excellent selection

Auchan Dunakeszi is a decent shopping centre, one of the the biggests in the Hungarian capital, but it is still easy to quickly find the necessary specialty shop or service provider (i. e. banks, money exchange, cellphone providers, coffee houses, restaurants etc.) also offering great variety of household chemicals, refrigerators, tvs, washing machines, food product in the hypermarket. Free toilets are available for visitors. In most outlets the card payment is everyday practice. There is a large and free parking serving customers. The centre is easy approach by car or using of public transport.

The second most visited grocery shop by my family. We can't miss this place.

One of the most interesting and biggest super markets I've ever seen.. Also u can sit down and rest your soul in the middle of it watching some big fish swimming in a tank

A good place to have a quick lunch or coffee break while you are heading to Budapest city center.

This is one of the biggest Auchan stores (if not THE biggest). It has all you are looking for and probably even more. The food court provides you with a great variety, including 2 Chinese fast food restaurants, too. A bonus: it also has a free-of-charge inside playground for the kids.

HUGEEE Supermarket. Nothing you can't find here. I'm not sure if the prices are good compared to other places, but I found a couple of nifty bargains. It's inside of a little mall where you can eat and shop for other stuff but not very impressive. It seems the whole place is built around Auchan and 1 or 2 other big name stores.

Good place. There is very well equipped playground in the middle of it, that is totally free. Perfect choice to go shopping with smaller kids.
