Nallamala Jungle Camp Bairluty

We were two couples who visited this place in end November. It was one of the finest trips I made and a wonderful place. Everything happened so beautifully. A lush green surroundings with a number of bamboo trees, beautiful cottages. Saw a lot of butterflies, well maintained garden.
There are a number of activities for kids like burma bridge, an obstacle net, swings etc.
A quiet place. The rooms are very spacious, well equipped. There is a water kettle for making coffee/tea (ingredients supplied on demand), mosquito repellers, door mats. There are many power outlets which I never saw in any hotel rooms. The bathroom is very big, the geyser worked so well and seems to heat up fast. The airconditioner in the room is of high quality. They even provided slippers. Enough chairs and sofas, side tables.
The meals were pretty decent spread, three breakfast items and tasty too. The lunch and dinners were also decent with many items. They provided non vegetarian dish at night. All these are unlimited.
They have a lot of games like volley ball, shuttle, carroms, chess etc. There is a souvenir shop also selling very nice T Shirts at nominal prices.
Every night we had bon fires. An audio visual was shown every day.
The staff are very courteous and helpful.

We went on two safari’s and saw some animals like deer, wild boar, nilgai, sambar but were unfortunate in sighting a tiger, one should be lucky I suppose

We met the DFO of Atmakur before reaching Bairluty who was kind enough to spend some time with us explaining about tigers and forest, tribals etc

Being a government organisation I never expected this type of set up at all and was very pleasantly surprised.

For me it was a nostalgic trip, I used to visit this place often 55 to 60 years back.

One of the best stay in Nallamalla forest zone. Food tasted yummy and they served quality food. Staff are really supporting. During Safari, we got a chance to view Tiger. Watching tiger during safari was a thrilling and life time experience. Mehboob incharge staff was patient and explained all the precautions during safari. The road from Kurnool is worst- it’s too narrow and takes lot of time to reach the camp.

Best places to visit for nature lovers. Highly recommended for family and friends to spend time with nature. Stay place is well maintained by the Nallamala forest staffs and provided good hospitality . Big thanks to Mahaboob Basha (Nallamala staff) for providing many informative details about the place and for taking good care of us.
Jungle safari is so thrilling and it’s pure luck to spot the animals.

Well maintained eco park with well furnished tents with attached washroom, changing area, closet, AC, Geyser, Balcony/ Portico, spacious. Well maintained kitchen with morning Tea/coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Courteous staff. Inhouse gift shop... With good buys. Safari is good and is for 1.30 he approximately. Best time to visit is in winter. Great place for kids of all ages to mingle and play in kids play area. Visited the place in Nov 2023 with like minded friends and our families.. Kids had a great time. Book online ONLY. Highly recommended.

Amazing getaway from Hyderabad/Bengaluru. The cottages were neat and well maintained, the food focused more on the regional cuisine and was delicious, and the staff was super courteous and helpful. One can go on safaris and nature walks into the rich and dense NSTR, indulge in activities in the camp, or just spend time lazing around the camp premises if that's what you are looking for. The campfire at night was a nice touch to the overall experience. The camp is child friendly, which is always a plus.
10/10 recommended to all nature lovers in the area.

Our stay was comfortable and the food was good. The staff here are supportive. The Safari ride was decent, in the morning we could spot Junglefowl, Deers, Kingfisher and Flycatcher birds. We were told a tiger was sighted 3 days ago and we could see pug marks of the tiger, leopard, and wild boar. Our guide Mehboob helped us understand about different medicinal trees and their uses apart from sharing interesting stories about wild encounters. The place has good play areas for children.

It's a must visit place... I don't think you'll see the tiger... But you are lucky you can see the tiger...we spotted Neilgai, peacocks, spotted deer,sambar etc you won't be disappointed

Impressive is the word. Frankly was not expecting much from a govt run jungle camp but was pleasantly surprised the way it was neatly maintained. The rooms were quite spacious and neatly maintained. Attention to small details like hooks for hanging used clothes, door mats, plenty of plug points, garbage bins etc. Frankly these are small things but have not seen even many top hotels providing this

Food wise it's a buffet with limited items, but they were all tasty. For Rs. 3000 per person which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening snacks including jungle safari its a value for money deal.

Sighting of tigers or any animals in Jungle safari is pure luck and there is nothing much anyone can do. Overall a good place to go on a weekend and have some fun.

Do note there are lot of indoor games as well as outdoor games provided in the jungle camp to pass your time

The rooms were good and service on par with 3-4star jungle camps. But safari was disappointing as there was no naturalist who went with us. We could see only a few spotted deer. The safari vehicle was in run down shape and we had to get down in the middle of the forest to push it. Only one gate/route was open to the forest so probably that's the reason for no sighting. The temple in the forest was frequented by locals and there is a lot of garbage and plastic around it. No one seems to be restricting the usage. The resort was good. Food was served in generous proportions and delicious. Staff too were very kind and polite. Nice place for families. Strictly no alcohol and no smoking in the resort.. Good getaway for a weekend.

Package includes 2-hour safari; not many animals sighted which is normal in any jungle safari, but it was an amazing experience.

I went to the Bairluty camp a week ago. The stay was really good and would suggest to the people who want to stay peacefully with no outside world connections then the first option would be Bairluty.

The food that is being provided is delicious and the cook will also prepare the dishes which we can request them at prior.

Jungle Safari is good and we saw the least animals and birds but the smell of sand, sandal wood and the cold breezes in the forest makes you fall in love with the nature.

Bamboo tree in the jungle which are as tall as 5 floor buildings in the concrete forests mesmerises you, the fireflies at night along with the stars make you feel not to leave the place.

The safari has the view point which is awesome where people can get down in the safari and go to the view point to view the sunset along with the beauty of nature

Perfect weekend gateway to spend good time with family/friends, staff is polite , clean rooms, tasty food, jungle safari experience is nice(animals spotting is rare)

A unique experience place with accommodation and a jungle experience.
Six hours drive from Hyderabad and near Kurnool / Srisailam.
Book the rooms in advance; they have spacious rooms with a good play area. The place also offers a free jungle safari (which is a must).
The best time to visit is throughout the year and for animal sightings, from March to June.
Food is fundamental from the in house kitchen and doesn't expect much from the chef. Also, note there are not many fine-dining restaurants until you reach Kurnool or Bangalore highway.

Food prepared by Mr. Abdullah is very tasty.
Sfarai experience with Mr. Mehboob was awesome. Property is excellent and can enjoy a lot with group and family.
Kudos to entire staff they are very good and helpful.

Important points which will be helpful-

1. When booking safari mention your preference time slots early morning or evening.
2. Please carry bananas, nuts to feed monkeys and biscuits/ breads for dogs.
3. Carry few snack items like biscuits if you enjoy your tea with biscuits. Evening snacks are tea and bhajji which was very good.
4. Be the first when food is made availabe as it gets over soon and may be have to wait long or something else with less portion may be served.
5. Ensure you check the room seating furniture, door latch (area of improvement required)
6. Airtel Mobile network was negligible coverage at times.

For great weekend 1D/1N experience must try

Excellent experience. Very good facilities and staff are very cooperative. Food is excellent. Echo walk in the Nallamala deep forest is very thrilling experience for us. We played badminton and children liked archery very much. Wish to visit again and strongly recommend for everyone. Special Thanks to Mr Venkatesh garu and Mr Mahboob garu for sending my forgotten luggage through courrier.

Excellent ambience , well maintained tent houses with unique names for each cottage. Food is good, the staff are very friendly and cooperative.

Camp is really good. Stay was awesome and food was good too. It cost around 6k for stay, food and jungle safari. They have few activities and the staff is very prompt if you have any queries they respond well. We visited in March but best time to visit is in rainy season.

Amazing place to spend your weekends. Great food, Excellent Staff especially our Safari Guide Mr. Mehboob. Will keep coming back.

Place is quite good and well maintained. Food is simple, but quite good and is more than required.

We visited in first week of April, but it would be best to visit between September and February.
