This place has vibes of history .. Every single stone reminds you of great past this Atalpuri ( the old name of Atru ) town had. Visit this historical place . This is the gateway to Atru town . Thanks to Archaeological Survey of India which has protected this place . Temple is covered by a protected wall. Today this temple need our attention . The temple has potential to revive the tourism in Atru.

ध्वस्त मन्दिर के ढेर में तस्करी के बावजूद बची हुई कलाकृतियां चमत्कृत करती है। पुरातत्व विभाग द्वारा संरक्षित स्मारक।
सम्भवतः ध्वस्त होने पर ढेर लग गया लेकिन गर्भगृह अभी भी दबा हुआ है। साफ किया जावे तो और मूर्ति यां निर्माण सामने आ सकता है।
पूर्व में आधार की उत्तरी दीवार की सफाई कराई गई तो दीवार पर अद्भुत युगल मूर्तियां तस्करों द्वारा विदेश पहुंचा दी गई।
अमेरिका की होमलैंड सिक्युरिटी द्वारा नीलामी के लिए विज्ञापित होने पर पकड़ी गई व 2014 में वापस भारत आ गई ।
अब कहा है पता नही।
बिखरी मूर्तियों को दीवार के सहारे जमा कर संग्रहालय का रूप दिया गया है।
