Jerusalem gate is realy nice place.. an historic landmark of jewish comunity in india.. as history said.. 1st israelies lands here in india.. and then spred away.. as till the date.. many isariely visit here on diff diff ocassions like makarsankaranti....................................... . . . . . . .. . . .. . . . . . . .

This is one of the oldest cemetery in the world. To escape from persecution, few ships left shores of israel in 400BC. Due to monsoon season, thses ships sunk near Navgaon. Jewish people who perished in this tragedy lay here in eternal peace in this cemetery. Only 7 men and 7 women survived the tragedy and landed safely on Indian shores. Today's Bene Israeli community in India trace their origins to these 7 men and 7 women.

This place is quite peaceful. It is a 5 minutes walk from the Kihim beach. Locals and Indians are ignorant about this cemetery but many other non Indian nationals visit this place.
