People from nearby villages all have come to visit and enjoy the Raj Bari's Durga puja. Current family members of Raj bari also come during this festive season.
Nearest bus stop is kashipur bus stand, from there one can get auto or toto easily to reach Raj bari.

The Panchkot Raj Palace remains open for public visit during the Durga Puja days , the crowd reaching peak on Astami and Navami afternoons.

The descendants of the Royal family still live here and Durga Puja happens here for 16 days instead of 4 days , the dynasty worshipping Lord Rama as their deity.

But you can visit the place only in Durga puja .

Not recommended if the plan is a picnic or family outing. Its a different vibe.

It is opened to the public during Mahadurg Puja festival. And there is a huge crowd here to see this Kashipur Raj Bari. And I go here every year.

Very nice place to visit Kashipur Rajbarir in Purulia District. According to local person the place only open at the time of Durga Pujo festival, from Mahalaya to Dussera (Dasomi). It's is good enough if you like historical places.

Kashipur Rajbari is one of the most ancient royal palaces of former Manbhum and today's Purulia district. A wonderful amalgamation of Indian and Chinese architecture can be seen in this palace. However, access to this palace is not always available. Only during Durga Puja, the Singha Duar of the Rajbari is opened to the public for four days.

The royal recidence of Pachakot Royal family. Poorly maintained; still can offer you a clear vision of those glorious days. However you have to enjoy seeing the exterior of the structure. Excellent and must-visit destination of Purulia.

The place is simply breathtaking. It is a great example for the well preserved art of the historical times. I love going to the place and go there almost every puja thanks for the village home being near it. I would surely suggest those who have not visited the place to visit it, you'll love it. A bit of more care from the people living in the rajbari for the maintainance of the big landmark and the palace will always shine.

You can imagine the glory of ancient Bengal. Though many blocks are damaged but the main building is in good condition. Preservation is required.

Did not allowed visitors during COVID period.although this is an interesting historical place to visit in purulia.
