A very beautiful and calm place. There are a lot of things to visit, so plan to reach the place by 2 PM if you want to cover all the places. Apart from the beautiful statue, there is Isha foundation - a 10 min walk from the statue - which has different temples and places for meditation which is maintained by the foundation.
There is enough space for parking and the people here are very helpful and patient. A bit far from the main city but worth it!

In the premises of aadiyogi you get shops of handmade items and many game to play free. The people living there are very polite and enthusiastic. This place is situated in Coimbatore. You should visit by 5 pm, so that you can visit all the places in this area after 7:30 pm or 8 pm. You can settle down to the place where the latest shows are happening. Amazing leisure show you’ll be experiencing free cost. Find a suitable place where you can have a clear view of the laser show. Similar kind of experience you may get it in Bangalore itself now it is started in Bangalore. However, this is the oldest one and the laser was so amazing you should experience once in your life.

The light show was really good. Be present at the venue by 7:15PM to watch the light show. Ample parking available. It's advisable to have a wheelchair for elderly people as you have to walk a little longer from the parking spot. It's better to get closer to the statue during the light show for a spectacular view.

A bit secluded but the place is amazing, if you are going there just as a tourist than I recommend a full day from morning till 8 pm so you have time for exploring beautiful kunds and bid off by laser show in evening. If for spiritual visit a 9- 12 day time is recommended to join meditation course and explore within.

Best experience near Bangalore!!

It’s a must visit spot! And the best thing to experience is the laser show that happens after 7:30 pm everyday!

You don’t have to pay for the laser show! It’s Public Show for everyone!

Do go up towards the Adi Yogi Murathi as the brown band you see in pictures is not just a band it’s lakhs and lakhs of rudraksha ki mala !! 🙏🙌🏼

Very clean and wonderful spot for family outings!!

It's a very nice place .
We went yesterday for the Shivaratri event.
1 Arrangemrnts are nice but because of summer, we couldnt able to wait for that much time
2. I felt some dissatisfaction .

My suggestion is that instead of visiting this place on the Shivaratri event, we can visit on ordinary days. So that we can go near the Adiyogi statue.
All the temples were closed because of this event so couldnt able to visit dhyanalinga and other places.

For this event, they provided Annadaanam, which was good.
Washrooms are average but for this event we shud not expect more than that.
Water facility is good. Provision to refil water in our bottles

Adiyogi in Coimbatore is best visited on weekdays or non-public holidays to avoid large crowds that can disrupt the experience of embracing Yogi culture. However, for casual visits, the crowd might not be an issue. Plan your trip accordingly, noting the numerous signboards available in case you get lost. There are plenty of parking lots, albeit paid, and facilities such as washrooms, food counters, and souvenir shops. It would be great if visitors could maintain a peaceful atmosphere, especially to not disturb others engaged in yoga or meditation

The place was like a tourist spot, the Adi Yogi statue was astonishing.

Had seen a lot of northies and mallus than tamilis.

Had gone on bullock cart and its fee was just 10Rs.

They had good parking spaces with just Rs10.

They had collected our belongings other than purses before visiting the Dhyana Linga.

Set in the backdrop of the velliangiri hills it's amazingly scenic and aptly placed at the base of what is also called the Kailash of the South. Made out of 700 tonnes of moulded steel it is in the Guinness book of world records for the tallest bust. Maybe another Adiyogi statue of double it's height can break this record sometime in the future.
..
The evening Laser Show is not to be missed.
There are some bhajji and pani puri shops that serve mouth watering delicacies.
