The Sorcerer's Cottage

Very cool cottages, and very nice hotel next to it. The mythology behind the pool was a highlight of my 10 day ring road trip in mid March. Please go visit.

Part of the Witchcraft museum, but this one is for free. Very nicely made. Right next to it is a small hot spring.

Beautiful location and a cool little stop off the main road. Interesting to read about the Icelandic history.

Stojí za zastávku, prohlídku zvenku i zevnitř a prostudování připravených informací. V tomto domě žil poslední člověk, který byl na Icelandu odsouzen k trestu smrti za čarodějnictví. Trest měl být vykonán v Dánsku, kde zemřel ve vězení ještě před vykonáním trestu. Vnitřní expozice je super a okolní krajina také. Vstup zdarma, koncem září žádní návštěvníci, prohlídka včetně cesty z parkoviště max 30 minut

Magische plek. Prachtig gelegen bij warme badjes, een zwembad en een superfijn hotel! Dit tovenaars huisje is onderdeel van het museum over hekserij zo’n 25 kilometer verderop. Doen!
