Mörk Homestay

A stunning guesthouse located slightly north of Hvammstangi, both the interior and exterior are truly captivating. The bed (and the sofa) was exceptionally comfortable, and the cleanliness and spaciousness of the place, including the generously-sized bathroom, were notable. The room and porch offered breathtaking views, adding to the overall experience. We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast, neatly arranged in the room's refrigerator upon our arrival. The variety and quality of the spread left a strong impression. I wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse.

The cottages are remote with very little light pollution or large mountains blocking the view which is overlooking the beautiful fjord, so they are ideal for spotting the Northern Lights! They are also very clean and well presented.

This is a great place to stay. The views are amazing and it's located just outside the village. Making it nice and quiet but also easy to go to the supermarket.
The breakfast was served as well and was very extensive with different breads, toppings and fruits.
They even gave us a toy tractor and a sled for our son to play with.
We will definitely stay here again when visiting North Iceland!

I really liked this cottage. It's a small "duplex" cottage (two rooms for rent) essentially in the owner's back yard. But the spacious interior is decorated very stylishly, and the views of the fjord are great.

I opted for the breakfast and was impressed with the spread, which is in your room when you arrive. I loved having "room service" on the little dining table. I highly recommend this place.

Small details - the towels are the huge, fluffy ones you get from Costco! Best towels we had in Iceland. And they even have individual "Dead Sea minerals" soaps and shampoos, which is a rare find in Iceland.

We had an amazing time. Beautiful place inside and out. Comfortable bed, clean and spacious place. Incredible views from the porch and windows.

The best getaway place in west Iceland. Mork Homestay is very well decorated with an unique modern touch keeping the style and beautiful harmony. The rooms outside the main building offers an amazing view and great rest feeling. Totally recommended.

Out of the 7 hotels, hostels, and guest houses we stayed at in Iceland this might be our favorite. Great views of Midfjörder, and close to Hvammstangi. If I return to Iceland I'm coming back here.

I don't know where to begin. This place is LUX. if you're looking to stay in Hvammstangi stay here! Your own private cottage. King size bed giant bathroom all beautifully decorated full of lux amenities and it overlooks the see!

It was the best stay in our whole trip :) it was really lovely. We would absolutely recommend it to everybody.

Besonders schön gelegen , tolle Aussicht , sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung, großes Bad . Das Frühstück, mehr als ausreichend, im Kühlschrank geschmackvoll vorgerichtet. Kaffeemaschine mit verschiedenen Pads und Teebeutel zur Auswahl.
Sehr ruhige Lage, außerhalb der Ortschaft!
Gerne wären wir mehr als nur eine Nacht geblieben!
