Our group of 8 stayed in 3 rooms and everything was great. The rooms are beautiful. The views are amazing with horses and sheep and the ocean and a glacier all in one view! Breakfast was great as well with plenty to choose from for everyone. Geothermal Hot tubs 2 minutes down the hill are included and are open till 22:00. I definitely recommend staying here. Close to Hofn and the Glacier lagoon.

This is definitely one not to judge by the cover. Don’t let you go the exterior fool you. The rooms are beautiful and cozy! We had amazing view of the glacier. Breakfast was good, but fewer options than others on our visit. Would stay here again!

Nice clean hotel room. We stayed there just for one night. wish we could have stayed longer.

We arrived on a cool rainy day while driving the ring road. We were soaked after doing zodiac tour on Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. Pleasant, friendly staff upon check in. Room was very nice and clean. Radiators in room are great for drying clothes.

Nice simple breakfast in the morning. Views of the glacier and waterfalls. Also look for wild reindeer. Check out the small museum. Very cool and informative. They were wonderful in opening the gate to their hot springs.

Highly recommend.

Lovely place with a great view. The team is great, they care a lot about the place and the guests. The guy at the reception helped me when I had a problem with my credit card. He tried really everything, so a BIG THANK YOU once again! The breakfast is great, too: Homemade bread, jam and waffles. I can highly recommend this hotel. (Only a hair dryer was missing ;-)

Big Thankyou to Anna and the rest of the staff for the amazing service. Not only is the hotel a lovely comfortable stay with great views and lovely breakfast. Anna looked after us during a very stressful situation, being stranded after having an accident on the road the previous evening. We were looked after and helped by everyone. Would hope to stay here again.

I stayed there in Nov 2015, on my solo trip through out Iceland (the best country ever), and i was the only person staying there at that night. a bit spooky since it was a windy night and i was all alone in the hotel, very clean and good rooms, the owner was a very nice gentleman who came and set me up in the room, and once more came back when i asked to get some more soap. the next morning i met the owner's daughter who prepared an amazing breakfast (even though i was the only one there, a great variety and options), she was very educated and gave me a great idea about where to visit, see the glacier nearby which was a surreal experience, and make sure i made a sandwich to have on the way. I hope I can go back there soon, cheers.

Excellent hotel in the countryside.
Pros: The rooms are simple yet comfortable. The view to the glacier was amazing. The breakfast was very good in Icelandic standards. The host was very attentive and nice.
Cons: The first room we got was just above the reception, so we could hear everything going on there. Eventually, we got a quieter room.

This was a great accommodation for our stop near Hofn on our journey around route 1. Very first impression was the front desk staff. they were all very nice, happy and smiling. Every time we had to go to the reception, they were very helpful and happy:). i kept telling my friend "i like how much they smile!"
Room was CLEAN, woke up sweating but then we quickly realized you are able to crack the windows open to get a breeze...

The buffet dinner was quite expensive, so we opted to drive into Hofn for more dinner options.

Breakfast was simple with many options but the view in the dining room is beautiful and bright!

We were welcomed by a friendly staff and also ate our dinner there, which may I say was phenomenal. Clean, cute setup with a view of the glacier in the backyard. They have natural hot tubs there that are included in the price of your stay.

Excellent location with a new breakfast/dinner room overlooking the glacier, probably the best view one will get in the Hoffell valley. Rooms are very nice with own bathrooms (uncommon for guest houses) and floor heating. The stay at the hotel also gives you free dips at the local hot pools. Friendly staff (well, the single person acting as receptionist, restaurant server, etc).

A very sweet and cozy place to stay very close to the Glacier.
Staff was super friendly.
Rooms were clean and you can see the Glacier directly from the window.
Breakfast was good. If someone loves to be in nature it's a perfect place.
Only one small tip that sometimes Google maps show a different route towards this place, however you are not driven far away from the place.
I would love to visit here again especially during winters to gaze northern lights.

The staff was so helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. They took extra steps to be sure we were comfortable. Beautiful setting and the geothermal hot tubs are relaxing and fun.

This place was fantastic to stay at. We arrived in the afternoon on 4/1/2016 after finding out that the entire ice caving season ended that very day but saw the glacier from the road. We were greated by Happy the dog, the owner and booked room #4. The hot tubs were included in our stay and were perfect for watching the aurora after our epic hike to the glacier. The drive to the glacier was 15mins and we did an hour hike along the right side of it and it was mostly safe. The hot tubs are open to locals and on a Saturday night it is a late night hang spot for Höfn teenagers. We had a blast and it was just ours after they left around 10pm. We brought a box of wine and a speaker and watched the Aurora come alive until the early hours. Breakfast was great and I can't wait to come back and recommend everyone to stay here!

Loved staying here. View of a glacier? Yes! And the hot pot/ hot tubs was such a wonderful addition to our time spent on the east side of Iceland. We recommend this B&B to all of our friends who are planning a trip. We'll hopefully be back in the future.

This place is one with some of the most incredible views from your hotel you'll ever see. From our bedroom window, or the gorgeous restaurant, you could see the expanse of an empty valley with mountains on the sides, trails through it, and a glacier in it's depth. There're also some refreshing hot springs to bath in. Aside from the hot springs, the aestetic is wonderfully modern. The views are incredible - I spent a lot of time outside just soaking it in, reading too.

The location is amazing, just aside a glacier tongue, so you can tell the view is really great. Nice service, clean rooms, and nice breakfast.

Very nice hotel to spend some time. There were hot tubes next to it, free of charge for the guests. Breakfast was awesome. Room was nice, bathroom was spacious.

we only came here to use their outdoor hot tub and it's definitely worth the 50min drive!!!! can you imagine relaxing in a hot tub with spectacular views of the mountains and the sunset for just 500kr (£2.5)? if you can't then you have to come and see it yourself!!

Didn't stay at the guesthouse, but had a great time on the ATV glacier tour. A fairly fast, fun, bumpy ride :)
(we even ran some sheep off the road)
Next time we'll definitely make time for the hot pools!
