Great variety of dishes and drinks. A lovely gem located between vatna glacier and hofn. The trout with pesto and potatoes was outstanding. Beautiful views of the mountains and nice serving staff.

We stayed only for breakfast and it was amazing. 2500isk pers, buffet + you can choose some items from the menu. 7:00-9:30

We arrived at 19:00, they told us come to have dinner around 20:30. But when we came at 20:30, they told us the kitchen was closed, only soup available. I can’t understand, it’s ridiculous.

Breakfast is great, dinner was just soups (3 different types, including vegetarian options) when we were there. The Icelandic soup with lamb was really tasty but quite expensive as well (about €16 a bowl)...

Generell gilt für Island: Leute sehr freundlich. Preise aber vielerorts unfassbar teuer, unangemessen teuer. Aber nicht überall. Stichwort: Touristenfallen. Gletscher durchaus beeindruckend. Lilja Guesthouse ist ausnehmend gut. Vor allem tolle Zimmer. Liebliche Location.
