Haukaberg House

It was a very satisfying stay.
It was a private bathroom of my room, but I was embarrassed because a Chinese lady was using it.
The room was clean and the kitchen was nice. The bed was fluffy, too.
Because there were many cars so I should have blocked another car in the parking lot.

The best place to stay we’ve visited in Iceland! Everything is clean and so cozy! Additional advantage for a great coffee machine. TV with Netflix and YouTube. Kitchen is fully equipped. The room is very nice and stylish. Thank you so much!

I 100% recommand, the place is beautiful, warm, if you’re lucky you might even see some aurora borealis in the night in the area!!
Eugénie, the employee here, was very welcoming and she gave us good advices on what to visit around here !
Overall, it was a perfect stay : warm, cosy, comfortable, and super clean !!!

This house is so cool. The hostess is so nice, friendly and kind. The house is very stylish, very super comfortable and the bedrooms are very cozy. I highly recommend this place. Also has a good location very near to Höfn. A good place to stay between Höfn and Skaftafell National Park and other places of interest.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this house/ hostel. ‘Hostel’ just doesn’t feel like the right word because it is a very nice, adorable house. We stayed in room 20 and it was so perfect, cute, and had a bit more space than the hostels we’ve stayed in on this trip. The owner is very nice and thoughtful too. The shared bath was only shared between 2 of the rooms and the shower was better than most. We only stayed one night, but after getting here, wished we were staying longer. Thank you for everything Elin!

More than just a place. It’s a home. The owner is so nice and lovely. Had a great stay here. Although it might seem bit pricey especially if you are used to hostel lodging like me but it’s not bad according to Icelandic standards. Highest recommendations!

The place is very cozy, the rooms and shared areas are super comfortable, the host is super friendly and kind. They have a fully equiped kitchen which makes it easy to cook any meal. There's also parking available. I definitely recommend this place!

We are just here. Absolutly perfect. A few minutes off the ring route but 100% worth. Nice and clean room with own bathroom. Shared kitchen. Really nice.
